I typically hate body oil. This stuff is different though. I ordered it because I have everything else in this line....body wash, body lotion, body butter, shave oil and now body oil. If you have not ever tried any of them and you are a newbie, get ready to buy the rest of the Vanilla Cashmere line. Lol. Back to the oil.....this is not like most body oils. It absorbs very nicely and leaves you still feeling moisturized, but not greasy. A little goes a long way and it leaves you smelling yummy! The only thing I do not like is the lid. A man must have had that idea. Lol. I would recommend using a pump from the shave oil if you have one. They are the same size bottle, so it works perfect. Either swap them out or buy an extra bottle of shave oil. I just rinsed it really good and then swapped them out. Note to EOS: The lid is a horrible idea. Once you use this, you have oil on your hands. When you pick the bottle up, the bottle is now oily. A slippery bottle of oil is not fun and asking for a disaster. This body oil completely changed my opinion of body oils. If you’re thinking of the heavy, greasy oils from years ago, this is nothing like that. eos Shea Better Holiday Body Lotion, Peppermint Cashmere smells good to me. It's sweet mint, vanilla. It melts into the skin quickly. At first, I thought it was going to leave a greasy residue, but it did not. It soaked in, and my hands felt good and moisturized for several hours after. The first time I tried it was at my sister's house, my hands were so severely chapped that they were starting to bleed, and she had some by the sink. So I had to wash, and instead of drying, I put the lotion on my wet hands and (omg it burned so freaking bad), but about ten minutes later, my hand looked and felt so much better. I used it again before I left. When I came home, I ordered my own bottle. So far, the pump has worked fine. A little goes a long way. I love the smell — warm vanilla cashmere that’s cozy without being too sweet. The idea of a 24hr moisture oil sounded too good, but this one lives up to it. Strength is perfect: scent lingers but isn’t overwhelming. Zero skin irritation for me and it plays nice with sensitive skin. Super moisturizing with shea oil + 7 nourishing oils, yet it’s lightweight and absorbs fast. Not greasy. Great value for the size because a little goes a long way.
