I like that there are 12 different colors for organization and the note lines on the front, but the folders are thin so not sure how long they will hold up with daily use.

PROS: (1) The folders come with printed lines on the outside of the folder so you can list what papers are inside. (2) the interior of each folder has a short pocket to hold the papers securely in the folder. (3) The colors of the file folders are bright and colorful, especially compared to the usual boring-beige colored folders you get at the office supply stores. CONS: (1) the printed lines on the outside of the folders really only work well on the lighter-colors. With the darkest colors you can’t see the lines, and unless you used a white gel pen, you wouldn’t be able to see what you wrote on the lines. (2) On the folders with a right tab, the pocket of the folder extends out into the tab area. This is a bit odd. (3) The top edges of many of the folders arrived bent, but not too badly. OVERALL: I like these colorful file folders and the pockets built in to the folder to hold the papers in place. I do prefer the lighter colors so that I can write and see the “Notes” on the outside of the folder.

I really like that this set comes in twelve different colors, to make it so much easier to find them by subject. I also love that each folder has printed lines on the outside for notes, and has two impressed lines along the spine to make it easier to re-fold and expand it, if I need to. The weight of the folder material is very similar to standard folders I've bought over the years - just not heavy weight. The folders I received have no inside pockets. The set sent to me was in excellent condition. I'm really happy with it, and think it's a great price, especially given the variety of colors.

Recently, I've been wanting a "quick glance" way to keep track of balances due on time-limited monthly bills. This set of colorful folders appears to be the answer. There are twelve different colors, each with two columns of lines printed on the front. Since I want them to track bills I expect to pay off within several months only, I expect these folders will be perfect for my purposes. They are listed as heavyweight, but I don't find them any heavier than regular folders. In fact, I would say that they are slightly lighter than a regular file folder. Still, the paper's weight is sufficient to provide a good organizing tool. I don't expect that these folders will last even as long as a normal file folder, if for no other reason than that the lines on the outside imply being written on with some frequency. The more these are handled, the more worn they will become. I'm glad to have them, because they will serve my purposes. However, I recommend these folders only if you're looking for light use handling and storage.

The package was well wrapped and the folders are in pretty good condition. The six folders that aren't ready for sale were a few with bends in the tab area. One of the blue folders had a tab with white showing at the top of the tab. These aren't a crisis by any means but they might show that previous use was possible. What I like a lot about the folders is the space to write notes on the folder in an organized fashion. I haven't seen this before and it REALLY is useful. Now you file and write what you filed "taxes" then next line "internet" and so on. That is worth a lot. Obviously I could have done this without straight lines and a cue to take notes. I'm going to guess the tab challenge was not typical and I'm giving the product an A for making them more valuable. 4.5 stars.

I like the assortment of colors and the lines for notes on these folders, great idea. The folders don't seem the same weight of typical folders, a bit more lightweight. The additional pocket inside the folder is very shallow and depending on what side the tab is on the folder, does stick out some on some of the files. Was a bit disappointed that some of the edges were bent up. But do like the overall idea of these file folders. Some of the darker colors are harder to read, if you were to write notes...colors are dark, unless you write notes with a chalk marker.
