Im still getting use to the new lighting of my bathroom, if you are use to having very bright light overhead, you might not feel this is not bright enough. Hanging the mirror can be tricky. But so far we love it

I got this to replace our master bathroom mirror that was just a basic mirror with a wood frame. This one came in 8 inches smaller, than our previous but still looks great over a double sink setup. The installation was relatively easy, but it does require you to know how to use a tape measure, drill, tools, math, etc. Wasn't a problem for me, but there's no sort of paper template like some wall mounted items come with. The mirror has little grooves on the short ends for the cable, but not on the long ends which kinda stinks. We had the cable coming out the right side, but ultimately changed so it comes out the bottom for less cable to be shown. The downside to this is since there is no grooves on the long ends of the mirror it pushes the mirror away from the wall for the width of the cable. The mirror comes with 3 different light features and adjustable brightness. We prefer to just have the back light on which looks fantastic. It's easy to adjust the levels, or to use the defogger which works great. My wife takes super hot super long showers and the defogging feature kept the mirror completely clear. The only reason I'm docking it a star is because we have a smaller led mirror like this one downstairs. That mirror has the same three buttons, but it allows you to turn off the mirror completely. On this specific mirror, the buttons stay lit always which is kindof annoying at night. It's like a constant nightlight lit bathroom so now we have to close that door to the master bath at night or unplug the mirror. The directions don't specify a way to turn those lights off, so I assume it isn't a feature available. Outside of that this is a great mirror that was easy to install if you're handy. ***Updated*** Updating this to 5 stars because I figured out how to turn the lights off kindof on accident. I know I had tried it before, but when the mirror isn't lit, just the buttons if you quickly double tap the power button it turns the lights off. ... show more
