This is a light to medium-weight basic comforter/bedspread set - I could see it used in a guest room or air long-term bnb for general use. I likely will use it in my guest room for intermittent use. It does not feel heavy duty so I wouldn't use in my regular bedrooms for lots of repeat washings or for pets, as i think it would snag on their nails. It washed well with some mild shrinkage and wrinkling, and the color held up to washing. Fabric is soft and not scratchy to the touch. Just don't expect it to match pottery barn quality but it will do for easy low-cost bedding. ... show more

My photos aren't the best, but I promise this bedspread and its pillow cases are so much more than the photos in the listing make it appear. The pattern really shows up when you have the bedspread in hand. In my photos what looks like grey eyelet with white padding showing though in places, is just shine that the little rectangular prints give off when they catch the light. Beautiful! I love the pattern, and the grey/blue color in the listing is actually a true grey in person. The pillow cases are exactly the same. My only thought is that it's more of a thick bedspread then a comforter, however it may fluff with more time out of the shrink wrapping. I selected the white color, which I would say almost has a blue tinge to it. That’s only to say it is a cool white with no yellow undertones. The top layer is patterned to look like quilting, but instead it appears to be some kind of imprinted pattern. At first glance, I was disappointed because it looks cheaper than the seller’s website photos. However, after washing it and putting it on my bed, I have to say I’m pleased. It doesn’t look high end, but I think it is pretty in its own way. There’s a medium thickness of batting, and the under layer is smooth fabric which has minimal stitching throughout to keep the batting in place. The set includes 2 quilted shams which are not lined. My pillows look flattering in these shams. I love that this set is easy to wash and dry because it’s not as thick as other comforters. Yet it still has some heft and keeps me warm at night. I would order this again if needed Update: This is my go-to comforter. I like to wash all my bedding weekly including comforter, and I just love that this product in king-size washes easily and dries fast compared to other bulky types! ... show more

This comforter set has pleasantly surprised me. I thought it was such a great price that the set would be cheap and look cheap, but I was wrong. I washed it and wash amazed that it survived the first washing. The set is very lightweight, but it is very durable! It is so soft and the quilting is flawless. My daughter walked in and saw the new set on my bed and said, "Wow! That's so pretty!" I chose the light pink color and it is definitely a blush pink. Very subtle and not too pink. It's adult enough to not look like it belongs in a baby's nursery. I am very happy with this lightweight, comfortable comforter set. It's a great bargain and you won't be disappointed! ... show more

I had a couple of friends try it and this what they told me. He tends to get cold at night and I get hot but it was comfortable for both of us. I didn't feel it was too hot and he felt it was sufficiently warm. Green color is nice. It's not very thick and didn't feel heavy on us. It comes vacuum packed so feels hard but it puffs almost instantaneous when opened. Didn't notice any weird smells from manufacturing process or shipping.
