The rose is very nice and a great gift. The detail on the rose and pedals add to the uniqueness. The thing you have to worry about with this purchase is the condition of the rose once it arrives due to damage during shipping. It is poorly packaged. I purchased one and it arrived with a broken pedal. I had no issues working with the company and they were great in providing me a free replacement. The replacement rose arrived with a bent stem. Almost a J hook end. The rose is not packaged to prevent damage or movement while shipping. It is wrapped once in thin flexible foam wrap and placed in a velvet bag. That bag is then placed in the box you see in the ad. Both the rose in the bag and the bag while in the box can get tossed and bumped around. Until the packing is changed you take a risk of a damaged item arriving. ... show more
