These things are the perfect no-frills crane. I bought two of them and I have one of the harbor freight ones. Same rating but they've gone up a bunch in cost compared to these. With three I can lift any boat I can fit into my shop.

The wheels that turn on bearings are terrible. They most likely will need to be replaced with some wheels that do turn. I cant believe they would sell something with wheels that are so poor quality. There are four of these six wheels that need to be replaced. The instruction sheet has been reproduced so many times its unreadable. The only thing that is wrong with this unit is the holes in the boom are not the same size in the boom extension. Its not a problem as it works but really they should be the same. A pin goes through these holes to adjust the length of the boom.. But overall, it works and I'm happy with it. And all the parts were there. ... show more

The directions and part numbers are not correct, it's like they used a mismatch of a few different lifts that you see on here. For a couple more dollars would have gotten the in person Harbor freight one.

Easy to put together, however, I did end up buying a couple of bolts from the hardware store because I didn’t feel comfortable with the length of the original hardware. Works great but I’ve only used it to lift an air cooled vw engine which can be lifted easily by two people without a device but since I work alone, this lift has been a real benefit to me. ... show more
