These things are the perfect no-frills crane. I bought two of them and I have one of the harbor freight ones. Same rating but they've gone up a bunch in cost compared to these. With three I can lift any boat I can fit into my shop.

The wheels that turn on bearings are terrible. They most likely will need to be replaced with some wheels that do turn. I cant believe they would sell something with wheels that are so poor quality. There are four of these six wheels that need to be replaced. The instruction sheet has been reproduced so many times its unreadable. The only thing that is wrong with this unit is the holes in the boom are not the same size in the boom extension. Its not a problem as it works but really they should be the same. A pin goes through these holes to adjust the length of the boom.. But overall, it works and I'm happy with it. And all the parts were there.

Found mine only had German instructions (other customers had none). Also see dent found in cylinder wall. Given we are subject to those nowadays making profit marketing cheap product...... A closing comment : During the assembly I found myself wondering why there were no lock washers on key bolts. The answer is simple, for a lock washer to work, the wall thickness of the hoist are simply too thin at 3/32". Shown in the second photo is the deformation end of the lifting boom (speaks for itself).

It was easy to assemble very fast shipping. It’s well worth the price it’s not top-of-the-line, but it worked for me. .It seems to be built well and easy to assemble.

I was using this to lift a small block Chevy engine and the ram doesn’t hold and it slowly releases. It is dangerous and I was almost injured because of it. The instructions are incredibly misleading, I had to disassemble the wheels because the instructions stated that certain bolts went to the wheels and that caused the legs to not align properly. The warning label is in extremely broken and terrible English (I have put a picture of the warning label in with the review) with the added cost of replacing the ram from day one, it is not a good value. Buyer beware

As good as the local import tool store Harb Fret. Maybe better. Has better hardware. The only negative is that the hydraulic ram was shipped empty and I had to fill before using. Which is easy to do. BTW, Its cheaper to ship without oil, trust me on that.
