  • Does the job
Style: 450 N.M Imapct Wrench
This impact wrench is suitable for the home handyman. Easily spun off the lugs of my 2500HD 4X4 Silverado. Comes with low-end sockets that are OK for general use, but buy a hardened set for more serious work. This wrench is heavy and needs to be in order to handle the job.

  • A beast.
Style: 450 Ft.lbs Wrench
Pros: This thing is a BEAST. I bought it to take the nut off the flywheel on a riding mower. I tried everything I could think of before breaking down and buying this thing I bent a two foot 1/2 inch breaker by putting a 4 foot pipe over the handle and the nut wouldn't budge. This wrench removed the nut in 2 seconds flat. I just regret wasting my time with the breaker bar. Cons: This thing is a BEAST. I'd hate to have to use it all day on a regular basis. It is HEAVY. Conclusion: I'm glad I bought it and wish I had enough sense to have made the purchase a long time ago. It'll save you a lot of time and frustration (and perhaps your religion) and it'll get the job done. ... show more

  • Powerful.
Style: 450 Ft.lbs Wrench
Removed the anode rod from my 13 year old gas water heater in less than 2 seconds. Like it was nothing at all. I have an air impact wrench but not enough air power to run it good so it could not budge the anode. This electric impact wrench is alot cheaper than buying a bigger air compressor.

  • long term review. Works great!!
Style: 450 Ft.lbs Wrench
I live on the farm and need something to do my own auto repair, tractors, and RVs. First few times using it it has like a plastic smell. This is normal so don't be alarmed. It will go away after you use it enough. Excellent power which I was impressed. Removes truck and RV lug nuts just fine. CV axle nut on an Acura. This is a project car we picked up. My torque wrench said it was over 150 flbs....when I tried take nut off. At first the nut didn't want to move. Bump the impact forward and reverse a couple of times and the nut came right off. Plus we removed the harmonic balancer nut with no problem. I have used this on the Ford 350, GMC Yukon, 33' RV lug nuts and did the job good. Very pleased with this tool. I highly recommend it. This is a huge time saver working on cars and equipment. Be careful putting nuts back on. You can seriously over torque and strip threads or break bolts. Always use a torque wrench to tighten down nuts to factory specifications. ... show more

  • Worked well to remove water heater anode
Style: 450 Ft.lbs Wrench
Used it to remove old water heater anode. Worked like a champ. 30 seconds later anode is free! First tried a wrench with cheater bar. It wouldn't budge. Tried heating with torch. No change. As others have reported it is pretty heavy and bigger than some. I look forward to trying on lug nuts for tire rotation next. ... show more

  • Heavy AF
Style: 450 Ft.lbs Wrench
I must say I didn't anticipate this impact gun weighing to much. It worked well and got the job done but, man, wish it were not so heavy. Being electric and drawing a lot of amperage, it did produce a strong electrical burning odor when I used it. Never did it not work and there were no sparks from it like one review I read. Got my wheel lug nuts, hood bolts, engine mount, and some body bolts off while resealing my 2011 Honda Civic timing cover. It did not remove the front crankshaft pulley bolt but I was already skeptical about it. I relied on the 20 inch 1/2 extension and jack stand method as seen on YouTube. I did not use it to install the bolts and nuts because there is no telling and no way to control the speed/torque when using it. I am keeping the gun since I used it and might use it again sparingly for my wheel lug nuts when I rotate mine and my fiances vehicle tires. if I could go back in time I would pass on the purchase and just use my muscle power. Hope this review helps in your determination. ... show more
