Features

  • Durability is superior for cars, trucks and SUVs; road salt, oil, and a host of other common under car contaminants will eventually destroy the rubber bushings on your vehicles, not to mention the weight and torque forces that typically compress rubber
  • Hyper-Flex replacement polyurethane components stand up well to contaminants that often destroy rubber and have been engineered to give longer-lasting performance and not compress permanently
  • Hyper-Flex is offered in a variety of durometers (firmness or softness), depending on product application; performance tested and race proven; used for all of Energy Suspension products that require a higher level of performance and durability
  • If you are modifying, building a new vehicle for scratch or restoring an old one, Energy Suspension's Hyper-Flex performance polyurethane should be the 'ground zero' focus of your present and next vehicle plans
  • Over two decades of in-house experience in innovating, engineering and formulating a wide selection of polyurethane components for many different industries, Energy Suspension has qualified as a premier manufacturer of high quality polyurethane products

  • Know before you buy!!
As the majority have mentioned this can be VERY labor intensive!!! I was NOT one of the lucky ones, the old rubber bushings did not easily come out, even with heat and a press they still came out in chunks. The remaining I just burned off with the torch and scraped. Using a wire brush to clean the remaining residue and supplied lube the new bushings went on with just hand pressure. The most important tool I felt was the most useful is the come along to help align the holes, a mere ratchet strap WILL NOT help at all. Plan for an ALL DAY job. I'm going to wait until after the holidays to tackle the rear!! On a side note: Check your parts before you start, I was missing a couple of bushings. ... show more

  • Nice product difficult to install
The quality of the bushings is great. I gave it a 3 because you have to reuse the metal sleeves from the old bushings. Getting the old bushings out of the sleeves was a real pain. Something that should have taken 2 hours took me 8. I would have paid more for bushings that come with the sleeves if I had to do it over again. Shipping was fast and on time. Instructions needed a little bit of time to decipher as they were very cryptic. ... show more

  • Great product for a low price
The only reason I gave this a 4 instead of a 5 star, is purely for the labour factor. As a few people have said before me, these are just the bushings and not the actual metal sleeves. So you have to get the old rubber out of the metal sleeve to put these in. Nothing that a hot, direct flame and a hammer couldn't deal with. We heated the metal bushing whilst still attached to the control arm, and used the metal pins to knock out the old rubbers using a hammer. It was a long job, probably would take a day or just a bit more to complete all 8 control arms. The product is actually really awesome and a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend it if you're up for the labour! ... show more

  • Good engineering, needs to have a warning about installation.
have to say it seems like a perfect thing, (the engineering quality is great, installation is painful) 2 major problems (you don't remove the actual bushings, you take the rubber inserts out of them and thats good and bad) 1. removing the inside of the bushings on the differential, they are fused to the bushing collar and need to be removed using something that can scrape the rubber off of the inside - very very pain full. (mine were really good quality and likely didn't need replacement) 2. the lower track arm front bolts just need to be cut off - test to see if they come out as the first step, if they don't buy new ones and get ready to cut the bolts on both sides, or you will waste two hours of pure pain. (get a masonry bit to drill out the bushings, it brings it out in chunks, make about 5 holes around the collar they will pop out after that) ... show more

  • missing parts
I was just about to finish the installation when I realized there were two missing bushings... Make sure you do a check on your parts list before you start this job. Now I'm waiting for the replacement to arrive..

  • The bushing were very easy to install but the old ones do not come ...
Product came as advertised. The bushing were very easy to install but the old ones do not come out very easy. I had to use a torch, drill, ball joint press and a big hammer to remove the old bushings.

  • 98' Jeep Wrangler Sport
Requires a knowledge and patience, right tools and know-how's to complete the job. Once the old dated and broken down rubber bushings were removed and replaced with these Energy ones. Make sure to torque down the control arms to spec. This is a critical component to the vehicles stability. Quality product. Energy never lets me down. ... show more

  • Time consuming.
Excessive installation process, not helpful call center, charge for return. Only buy if you're willing to burn out the rubber and breath in toxic fumes.
