I like how this dock gives my Square card reader a clean dedicated spot on my counter instead of letting it float around between receipts and pens. The white tap surface with the contactless symbol looks bright and easy for customers to recognize, and the three small green lights along the side make it very clear when the reader is powered and ready. The included black base has a wide circular recess that the reader snaps into, and once it is seated the whole thing looks like a compact mini terminal instead of just a loose gadget. The non slip base works well on my wooden table and the dock does not slide around when I push a card against the reader from the side. I tried sliding an old rewards card through the slot and it fit nicely without catching on the edges. The case that wraps around the reader feels like a soft but sturdy rubber and it has cutouts in all the right spots so I can reach the USB C port and still see the battery indicator button. I plan to use this at my next yard sale where I need the reader to stay put while people are juggling toys, clothes, and the occasional mystery box that even I forgot I priced. One thing I appreciate is how easily the reader pops off the magnetic base when I want to pick it up and move around. The magnets are strong enough that I can lift the whole dock by the reader, but not so strong that I have to wrestle it off with two hands. I can use it flat on the table like in the photos, or pull the reader off and hold just the top piece while the base waits patiently for its star to return. That flexibility makes it feel more polished than simply sticking the reader on a strip of tape. If someone is looking for a simple way to protect the Square reader and make it look more professional on a counter, this dock does the job nicely and even adds a little style. I do wish there were a color option other than black to match different setups, but the compact size and stable feel make it a very practical accessory for casual sellers and small businesses alike. ... show more

This dock has some significant weight to it so when you set it down on a table you don't have to worry about it tipping over. The collar, case whatever you want to call it holds the square snuggly and has a magnetic ring on the back that can be attached by peeling off the paper backing and using the adhesive to "permanently" attach it to the back of the case. Or, as I'm doing, just use the magnetic properties to attach the ring to the case which in turn attaches the square to the dock. There are cutouts for a charging cable and a place to insert cards into the card reader opening. I believe this wi make using the square much more convenient. ... show more
