Glass is very heavy and somewhat cumbersome for a single person to handle. Item should have come with buffers to place between the glass and the wood supports as well at the bottom of the wood supports and the floor/rug. I had to go the the store to purchase these items. It took about three months to receive this coffee table -- to no fault of the seller -- and when it finally got to us, we were glad we had decided to wait for it. The quality and style is everything we had hoped for. The glass top is actually thicker than we expected; and the wooden support has very slick shape and is very easy to assemble -- a steel pole to slip into the holes in the two pieces of "legs" to connect them. It adds style to our living room. It's also big enough to use as a dining table--it can accommodate three adults comfortably with elbow room, up to five I imagine. Due to the material and shape, it's very easy to clean. I can't think of anything negative to say about it other than that the glass top is heavy, so it's safer to have two persons if you need to move it. ... show more

I am very pleased with this. It is made of solid wood with nice and even cherry finish. The glass is thick, heavy and well finished. Solid. This is not a knock, but I wished it included a wooden peg/plug to cover the hole where the bolt goes in, even though it faces down. The table is more beautiful than the pictures online. The glass top is very thick and the cherry wood is so rich looking. Needed 2 men to put it together due to the weight of the glass . Took about 45 minutes because the screw was hard to find. Located on a piece of the shipping material. Arrived in perfect shape with good packing material. So glad we purchased this. The assembly was easy, except for the very heavy piece of glass you have to precariously life out of the box and place on top of the base. The natural wood is beautiful, but it is slightly warmer than the photo makes it seem. My only complaint is that you can’t secure the top and bottom in any way. My boyfriend keeps putting his feet up on the table and pushing it/lifting it slightly. If you have boisterous kids, this could be a much bigger issue. ... show more
