Updated: I added a star after putting some time into the wig. I thinned it out considerably with my eyebrow razor and it looks more natural now. Think sliding down the hair like trimming bangs. I did this all around the wig. I included a picture of the amount I thinned out. It filled the sink. The wig does not shed. *** I needed a new fun wig and had been looking for real hair wigs too. I used the dry shampoo and a dry texture to combat the shiny and had to order a second product to hide the grids and knots. I'm hoping after I put that on it will look more natural. One big con on this wig is that you can only use a center part. One big plus is the color is perfect! The curls look like you just came out of the blow dry bar and the length is mid back for me at 5'5. I'm thinking just out and about this would pass but if you sitting across from your friend at lunch they might be trying to figure out what's up. Maybe wear a hat. I gave it 3 stars because it needs some work out of the box and the part is a pita. I'm going to keep it and keep looking for a good investment real hair wig that I can part in a different spot or doesn't even need a part. We will see. I’m not really sure what makes a wig good but this wig will need some work to look correct on me. I do like that there is an adjustable band to get it to fit correctly. The color on the wig is nice, just waaayyy too long for my liking so I will end up cutting it. Not sure how to apply it but I will figure it out. ... show more

    • Budget Wig but even better with some modifications

I bought this wig and it is nice for the money. The lace front looks great. I did have to make quite a few modifications to make it better. 1. It was too shiny. So I used 2 different dry shampoos in dark and light to make It less shiny. 2. Plucked the part. The part was way too thin so I widened it and in doing so it now looks much more natural. 3. The long hair kept getting tangled. I found the solution to that problem was to use thinning shears to make the hair not so perfect. I got the tip on YouTube and boy did it work. Now the hair brushes through easily and doesn't get tangled like it did before. 4. I cut the ends off of the wig with thinning shears. This made the length slightly shorter but it made the hair look more realistic. 5. I have a smaller head to I sewed my own wide elastic band into it and it feels much more secure. All in all a great wig for the price. Most of my other wigs are much more expensive in the $400-$500 range but if you are willing to put in some work you can get this $60 wig looking on par with some of the more expensive wigs. ... show more

I cut bangs and used my straightener to make them lay down closer to my head and I think it looks pretty good! It is shiny but could be worse. With a little wear that’ll go away for sure

I have ordered this wig a few times, and I have finally found a shampoo and conditioner that really nourishes the wig once it starts to get dry and ratty. Davines Oí shampoo and conditioner, along with the liquid luster oil treatment that I mix with the conditioner and I let it sit for about 10 minutes. I don’t fully wash the conditioner and the oil out of the wig either and I wash it in cold water. Then I put a leave in of the oi oil, I also use a wide tooth, wet brush To comb, and I start at the ends and work my way up but I probably comb it 2 to 3 times a day. I wear the wig daily and do have to cut it after a few weeks, which helps it last longer. But the color and fullness of the wig is amazing! It’s the only wig after I lost my hair to chemo that I feel looks natural, I get a lot of compliments on the color and I feel the prettiest in. The wig cap does go over my ear, but I don’t mind it. I have also cut two rows off the bottom of the hair because I noticed that gets nasty the fastest and loses the wave so when it starts to lose the wave, I usually cut it off the wig. I hope this is helpful, but this wig is definitely worth the cost especially now that I have found products that give it a nice refresh! ... show more

I wish this wig was more manageable. The color is absolutely beautiful. It just tangles terribly. Doesn’t hold curl in the back at all. After a while it becomes matted up. I use a hair drying brush to get the tangles out the best I can. Just wish it would hold curl better and last longer at its original state when purchased. These photos are 1 week apart, totally 3 weeks now I’ve been wearing the wig daily. Shedding can be a lot too with frayed ends. I’m not sure what else to do other than cut the ends and try issuing product to hold the curls better in the back. The part doesn’t change either, centered; but, looks natural. ... show more
