Hi - I was so excited to get this double-faced tape though I think the company that promoted it to hold their product on a wall was a bit two-faced. It is not as easy as they seemed to imply. Though, the manufacturer does make it clear that this is no simple tape. It comes in a carefully sealed envelope inside a mailing envelope. I thought it was some little electronic device when I first saw the packaging. I was about to return it when I realized it was the tape I had ordered. I bought this to reattach the bumper guard and protection guard for my trunk after having to have my bumper replaced by a fender bender. It’s very easy to work with and also to trim with a razor blade. It’s also super adhesive. After applying to the part, I can already tell it’s near impossible to remove without having to destroy the tape itself. I should get my car back in about two days. Looking forward to being able to pop these parts back on very easily as I did when I bought them.

I had the windshield replaced and the toll pass box kept falling with another kind of tape. I was concerned that it wouldn't hold as well as I live in Florida and the sun and heat in the car can get pretty intense during the day. I was surprised that the tape was not very wide for how much it holds. It took a bit to peel off the backing so it worked better if I started to peel it off before I applied it.

This double-sided tape is not complicated and is a mess to use. One can easily open the tape and separate the film from the tape. It is a good idea to allow the film to be longer than the tape to make it easy to make several cuts for usage. It is perfect for hanging pictures, paintings, and photos on the wall, as the double-sided tape will easily hold the paintings/pictures in place. Great item to have around the house.
