Big fan of these bobbins, I’m just now buying them for a third time as my floss collection expands. I cross stitch and prefer bobbins like these to plastic bag floss storage and these are a great affordable option. They are a bit thinner than the big craft store brand names but still plenty sturdy for their purpose. I haven’t had any break, in my previous two batches they have all been in perfect shape like no broken ones. You can write neatly on them with a skinny tip permanent marker and it lasts. The slots for the string are a little too wide so I find that I have to wrap several times into the little slots to hold the string in place. I have purchased others with smaller slots that hold with just one wrap

They hold quite a bit of thread or a little so it makes it great for sorting thread. For the amount I typically put on them I can still write what the color number is of the thread which is a nice feature. The thicker plastic makes them stand up to heavy use and I've not had a single one break or bend yet. ... show more

These bobbins do what they're supposed to and come in a large quantity. Only complaint is that the little slots at the bottom are too wide to keep the threads in place, I would have liked them to be a bit tighter.

These were generally okay for cheaper cards, but there were all of them that are warped and are not straight; meaning they were not all flat, with the plastic being whopsidded.
