I tried this on a whim as I am using Tretinoin and needed an SPF 50. I’ve tried lots of others but I really like how this feels on my face. It has a very minor white cast that disappears quickly as it absorbs in seconds. Once it absorbs, it feels very light and silky on. Does a wonderful job as a non drying sunscreen with CLEAR (really is clear on face - no white cast) of the very best sun blocker - zinc oxide. Very good product! Bout time a “tinted” sunscreen that is tinted. Most tinted sunscreens I’ve brought when applied are NOT tint. They make my skin lighter. This one offered three shades of tint, though I am a light toasty brown complexion I still chose the darker tint, bc I did NOT want to look lighter. I already turn pale during winter and I don’t wear make up. I’m glad I did!! This gives just the right tint, not too dark not too light. Not greasy and yet still allows my face a little shine. EltaMD UV Daily has been my ultimate “default” sunscreen moisturizer throughout the years, the one I always end up coming back to after trying other things. I love that it gives me real SPF protection with zinc oxide but still feels lightweight, hydrating, and comfortable on my skin. I do not wear makeup every day, especially with three kids and a busy schedule, but I still like to look a little put together. This is perfect for that. It does not offer coverage like a foundation, and I do not expect it to, but it does make my skin look a bit more even and fresh, almost like a soft focus effect. The texture is smooth and blends in easily without that heavy, greasy feel that a lot of sunscreens have, and it layers well under makeup when I do decide to get more polished.
