The rod is beautiful and looks fantastic upon installation, but the gold screws provided were terrible! Too soft and stripped immediately. We were aiming to drill into two studs and the screws couldn’t handle the pressure. Keep in mind, we were given the gold screws to match our rod. We purchased these to hang in a tight space, in between a fireplace and a wall, for tall, narrow windows that needed curtains for privacy. The metal is definitely oil-rubbed bronze (versus just a solid bronze), which is the look that we wanted, with the copper accents shining through just the right amount. I like the silver color and the sturdiness of these rods. The curtains hang nicely on them. I bought them as I didn’t like smaller ones I previously had purchased. The curtains slide effortlessly over the rods. I highly recommend them.
