I was shocked that the price for 2 gallons was cheaper than a 3 pack at some places. It has come in handy to have six a large size for multiple crafts. Most recently making my own paper mache clay. Has the traditional texture stickiness and feel of traditional Elmer’s. Great thickness and quality. The containers are sturdy and the lid seals well. Haven’t had any issues with leakage or spillage. If you are going to be doing crafts or have kids this is an amazing option to save some money and know you will have what you need for many projects and crafts to come. I use Elmers glue in a lot of my projects and crafts. I use a small paint brush and put two coats of Elmer's Glue on our favorite 3D puzzles that we want to keep as knick knacks. It dries clear and shiny, and makes the puzzle very sturdy. These are some of our favorite treasured Knick knacks. I actually purchased these two one gallon containers of Elmer's glue for my four visiting granddaughters for making slime! They experimented with a lot of different recipes, but their favorite was Elmer's white or clear glue, with the same amount of body lotion, and small squirts of contact lens solution while stirring until it formed into a slime that isn't sticky. I didn’t have food coloring on hand, so the girls used small amounts of acrylic paint to color their slime. My entire kitchen was full of slime of different recipes and colors. This is a tremendous value for art or other projects. I use it mixed with 40% water for papier-mâché work. It blends easily and stays emulsified for a long time. It dries To a very clear, slightly shiny finish and does not put off too much of an odor while it’s hardening. For heavy use, like in a classroom or kids’ art workshop this would be great for refilling smaller dispensers, it pours out evenly and predictably not a tidal wave of sticky lumps. ... show more
