I live in north FL. and purchased this for an upcoming trip to Alaska in Oct. After reading the reviews I went with the Large size. BUT, being 5' 11 / 160lbs. found that it it MUCH too large for me so I am re-ordering it for a Medium. Many, MANY great qualities with this jacket. Well made but lightweight for travelling and well insulated. Velcro on the cuffs, detachable hood, drawstring on the waist and (hopefully) rain-proof are all pluses, with a nice stylish design overall. One reviewer mentioned that the pockets do not have the fuzzy lining like the hood/interior does, but I think this is actually a positive aspect. If you think about it, the moisture buildup from inserting your wet, gloved hands could cause a smell over time if they had that lining and were not properly dried. Like the interior pocket (has a zipper... BONUS) they seem to have a waterproof(?) lining. Another plus in my book. I will also be ordering one for my spouse. UPDATE: Re-ordered it in a medium. Fits perfectly!

The ELLSWOS snow coat is very well constructed and looks like it will be very warm for my winter travels. Zippers work well and it has velcro on the main flap. The bottom has an elastic pull cord to tighten the coat around your waist. A large fits me well with extra room for inner layers, and I'm 6'2" 175 lbs.

bought these for the guys on our Street Team at work and they tried them on as soon as we got them. They look really good and they look WARM! It gets pretty cold during the winter and early spring so these are perfect for them. I am pleased with the look and the warmth.

After living in FL for 10 years, I’ve moved back to the northeast..and winter. This jacket was a great affordable find!! I have not one complaint about the jacket. Fits perfectly and not bulky for driving..even with a few shirt layers. Furry lined hood, water repellent material, and a smooth zipper. (I actually returned another jacket due to the zipper being flimsy and plastic.) Great quality winter jacket for everyday life and walking the dogs. Haven’t skied in it.
