I love bubble glass and have quite a few pieces of it, so this set of hurricane candle glasses is perfect for me. These are large and I love the size of them; they are not skimpy or wimpy. I also like the graduated sizes and that there are three of them; they are the perfect number and have the perfect size difference to cluster them together. My only criticism is I wish the middle and largest size had more bubbles in the glass. The smallest one has quite a few (though I wouldn't mind a few more) and the largest one has some, but the middle one has only a little bit. I'd love for them not only to match each other better, but to have more bubbles for that wonderful look and the texture it provides. Without the bubbles, these are just plain clear glass hurricanes that can be found anywhere, and the bubbles look so pretty when they catch the candle light, so more bubbles, please! Having said that, these are handmade so it's not like they are going to be perfectly uniform. They are beautiful and large for great decorating impact. The largest is 11 inches tall, which doesn't sound all that big but when you see them in person, they are substantial. The three different sizes fit graduated candle sizes well; as far as real candles I am missing one size that I need to track down (hence the empty hurricane glass in my photo), but my set of three battery-operated candles fits nicely in these hurricanes as well. I really love how I can dress these up for different holidays and seasons by adding different accessories to them, or I can even use them as flower vases. Overall, these are beautiful, classic and versatile, and impressively sized. I love the bubbles -- I just wish there was more of them.

Variances in hand blown glass items is to be expected, but even so, these aren't a well matched set in appearance. The small holder has a lot of bubbles, the medium has barely any at all, & the large has some. It's not an attractive balance. At a glance, the medium just appears to have flaws, nothing special. I planned to decorate with these for the holidays, thinking the bubbles would add a festive vibe. These will function well as candle holders, but they're not nearly as impressive as I thought they'd be.

These were much larger than I imagined but they are such nice display pieces. I have some crystals (stones/rocks) in one and will use the others for seashells and other collected items. Use them together in a set or around the house individually. Very large bases so they hold a lot! I will use with a candle also at some point but prefer for display items. The bubble effect is much more prominent than in the stock photos online, but I like that part of the vases/cylinders. There is a slight pinkish hue to the glass that you can see in the base where it's thickest. Very nice item! They are made in Germany so that impressed me even more! Funny though, it came with a wine pairing card for meats and cheeses... These are a bit too large to be drinking from, but hey! Why not?! haha

These stepped up my tabletop decor. I have my blameless candles in them but they look so elegant. It would be so easy to add decor to the bottoms and set the candles on top. I'm doing that for Halloween this season. They are heavy and well made.
