The media could not be loaded. I understand the price and you get what you pay for, but there is big gaps that will just lead to a lot of frame, flexing one sided welds missing paint, then gauge material plus arrived, breaking out of the box with part that was bent I should have just paid extra money and got a better quality piece ... show more

I was in a pinch to add my exhaust system, but the trans crossmember was in the way....ran across this item and the pricing was unbelievable....so I took a chance....wow, less than an hour it was in....the hardest thing about the installation was drilling the holes....it says '63--72 c10's, but I can tell you that it will work perfectly in any '55 - 59' chevy truck...mine is a '56 with max outside dimensions of 34''....this crossmember has a range of 32'' to 33.875'' adjustability and the 55-59 trucks have the same frame width as the c10's.....works perfectly and for the 100+ bucks what a deal compared to 250-600 buck price range....quality steel, think it's 3/16''and excellent welds.....hope this helps, happy wrenching.... ... show more

    • Crossmember looks used.
The unit was scratched up, just a crappy job. Nothing I can’t fix, but I wish it was ready to install as soon as I got it. Even the name of brand is upside down when turned the proper way.
