When I first took these out of the bag I was afraid they were going to make me look like a sausage, but once I got them on I was in love with the fit. They fit way better than my other grappling shorts (ordered a Medium). They're slimming and even though they're technically men's shorts, they are looking great around my hips and thighs. I wanted longer shorts as all of the women's grappling shorts I found tend to be short and I feel very uncomfortable in those. But these allowed me to move easily in every possible direction while staying covered where I wanted to stay covered. I had bought one other brand of men's grappling shorts for myself before trying these and while they worked I hated the boxy extra long look. These are absolutely perfect for not only my game, but my confidence on the mats. Not to mention, they're super breathable and I didn't feel sweaty or yucky like I do when I'm wearing spats. Good quality, versatile, and comfortable. The shorts are thick enough to be durable and tough but feels lightweight, breathable, and has enough flex during rolls. The elastic/draw string and Velcro waistband is a nice combo to allow for slight weight variations while being secure enough to stay in place during tough rolls. The Elite shorts were loose and comfortable. No pinching in the joints where it matters, and while the elastic waistband is tight enough to feel secure, everywhere else feels loose enough to move and flex however you need to. What I like most about these shorts is the elastic waist band along with the draw string. Most BJJ/MMA shorts only have a draw string and often slip down during rolling. These shorts are lightweight, durable and look awesome. I’ve tried more expensive BJJ shorts, they are not worth the price when products like this are available. These shorts are number one in my rotation, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon, until Elite makes a better version! ... show more
