    • The pet dog is a year round companion when the Elf leaves for home!
I originally wasn't after the set, but during xmas time the Elf was completely sold out online and I saw this for a little more $. It arrived the next day nicely packaged, and we told my son that Santa had sent it to him bc he had been asking for one. (Apparently these are popular topics at school). I used Pinterest to find some cute and quick elf ideas and it was a big hit. The last night his elf was here, elf left a special poem (again found on Pinterest), and a little note asking my son to be sure and read at least two books everyday to his dog (Hunter). Its a constant struggle to get my son to sit down and read, but this has been nothing short of amazing. He makes sure to read at least 2, sometimes 5 books to Hunter every night, I don't even have to ask, he just goes and does it and I'll hear him from the other room reading! I Love it! Plus he was very sad that elf had to leave and having Hunter stay helped ease the sadness. Well worth the money! ... show more

Since we have two granddaughters we ordered two elves and each had a pet. One was a reindeer and the other a St. Bernard. Oh what squeals we heard when the boxes were opened. They carried the pets back and forth to our house from their house. They left the elves at their house because you are not suppose to touch the elves! We have enjoyed seeing them love the pets as well as the elves. Home run! ... show more

Bought this for my 4 year old grandson. He was absolutely fascinated by “Chippie”, the Elf. He couldn’t wait to see what Chippie had done or where he would be found the next day. Because He knew Chippie was watching what he did and reporting his actions to Santa; he tried his best to make good choices. He was disappointed when he learned that Chippie had to return to the North Pole after Christmas, but was happy to hear that he will be returning again next year. ... show more

So did not want to fall into the trap of the elf on the shelf. BUT they did it at school and when my son asked, I said I'll see if Santa has a spare elf to send. Fell face first into it. Turns out, it was awesome. Loved moving him around. My order came with BOTH the dog and elf, and books for both. We love it ... show more
