The edges are sharp and scratch. The can also get hung on clothing and snag. That being said, the quality is very good and they look exactly as depicted.

One-of-a-kind and intricately handcrafted. The detailing on the heads are uniform yet unique (minute differences). Sometimes the trunks snag on my sweater but not enough to do any damage. I used a pair of pliers to bend the heads more upward to stop the ears from digging into my wrist bone. Problem solved. I adore this set and my other sets. Couldn't be more pleased.
