This roll-up piano keyboard is a hit in my house! We have accumulated a gaggle of low maintainance musical instruments, definitely enough for a fun-time family band extravaganza. This cheerfully rainbow keyboard is definitely one of our most popular instruments, often the first one that gets grabbed. (Sometimes our mini accordion wins first place, because it's fun to squeeze while dancing.) The keyboard looks awesome, sounds great, and is holding up like a champ in our busy household. The volume level is perfect, loud enough to hear easily but not so loud it's jarring when the three year old hits the same handfulls of keys 800 times in a row. The keys are surprisingly responsive, and I am impressed at how far flexible keyboards have come since I last owned one years ago. There are a bunch of different tones and demos, so you can really customize your sound. It's portable, easy to pack around. It charges up quick, the controls are simple to navigate, and the charge lasts hours. The best feature by far is that it can be used with headphones. The headphone jack has saved my sanity more than once. The second best feature is how pretty and happy it looks. I love the rainbow keys next to the black keys, and every time I look at it I think of how it would have delighted my mother. She grew up a little rough, and while she didn't talk about it much, she didn't get to experience early childhood fun, toys and treats, playing. One of the few allowed, non-work related activities in her house was quiet piano playing, and she said it became her secret doorway to freedom, joy, and play. When I got my first job as a teen I started buying her inexpensive toys that I guessed might ignite that little spark of child joy in her. She was a single mom to 4 kids, and worked hard to provide for us and the gaggle of friends and neighbors we always brought home. She didn't have money left over for fun for herself, and passed (cancer) before she really got the chance for stuff like that. I would bring her little horse or music related toys though, and when I saw this keyboard she was my first thought. She would have been absolutely on fire over it, and I can assure you she would have stashed it in her giant closet of a purse and whipped it out at every opportunity. No family event, public park adventure, or sports practice would have gone unaccompanied! This is a magical little gem of a keyboard, and likely to light that spark of joy for any creative or musical person in your life. Highly recommend.

Wow, for a little kids piano this really has a lot of great features. First is that it rolls up. The problem with a full sized keyboard is almost always not having space for it (for us at least) so this tackles that problem. It easily rolls up and can be packed on the go too! It also doesn't take batteries, but plugs in with a USBC which I prefer. The silicone mat with keys has a tiny bit of pop up and down when a key is hit, which gives a bit more of that natural real piano key feels, unlike most plastic versions. The color coding for each key is super smart and helps our kid already. It also has special modes, the ability to records, several different piano sounds, and pre-recorded songs, among other features. One thing I will note is that even on the lowest volume setting this has some serious projection. It's not usually an issue for us, but could be for some. That said, it gets VERY loud when on high setting. There are so many ways to play with this and it seems like it will last even with lots of use. Really happy with this!

I would have loved to have this MARVTOWN 49 KEY ROLL UP ELECTRONIC DIGITAL MUSIC PIANO when I was a kid. If they had included headphones, my mom would have loved it too. You have been warned: headphones are not included. Don’t let that discourage you in any way from ordering this, because it is still a great value and would make a phenomenal gift for kids up to at least age 10. I am several multiples of age 10, and I love it for myself. But I am, of course, young at heart. My husband would love it a lot more if I had just learned to play piano as a child. And now you understand the need for headphones. With headphones, I can play chopsticks to my heart's content without disturbing the neighbors. It's not so much bothering them that I'm worried about; it's having to face them after they've heard me play. Yes, if you buy this and don’t already have headphones with a standard small jack on the end, it is not really an optional accessory. Just ask my husband, or any parent, really! This is highly portable and rechargeable and will keep kids entertained and engaged. It is also a learning tool that is very, very fun. I think the price is excellent, even if the sound is only fair. I wish it came with a few easy songs for a piano included, but it doesn’t. The good news is it is easy to find the actual notes your virtuoso will need to hit on the keyboard to successfully play an actual song. Just google it!

My daughter is 4-years-old and absolutely loves this piano. As a parent, I love it too! The best features I found are: It isn't plastic and easy to break, rolls up for easy storage and portability, has volume controls rather than one loud volume like some others do, is really cute, has various extra features with so many ways for my daughter to play. I haven't found anything negative about this item. One improvement that could be made is printing the key labels directly onto the piano keys rather than including stickers. We stuck them on the keys, but they came off pretty quickly after a few uses. I ended up using rubber alphabet stamps from my daughter's preschool to label them and so far that's worked out great.
