This thing is built like a beast! The different pencil hole sizes and shapes are great. It is relatively quiet. At first I thought I had gotten a defective one, because when putting a pencil in it took a few seconds of determining what pressure/angle was needed to apply to make it start, then it ran for like 2 seconds and stopped. However, when I took it out it was a little dagger!!! There was a bit of a learning curve each time I put a pencil in the sharpener. Only a few seconds, maybe I had the wrong size hole selected, I don’t know. Once I figured out the pressure and angle I needed to use within literally seconds, almost instantly, all the pencils were expertly sharpened. If anyone sharpens a lot of pencils in their occupation, this is the ticket. I think it is maybe overkill for basic use at home. I am using it for my Sunday school room at church. I think it would sharpen every pencil in all the classrooms, and the sanctuary at church in just a minute if needed.

Very good product, read instructions carefully, good for art colored pencils, NOT FOR PASTEL ART PENCILS, instructions warn about some soft pencils but do not specify pastels ( common widely used in art), mine appears to be ruined, but it's my fault...i will continue to try to fix ir and if I cannot I will buy another, because it is a fantastic sharpener!

I have never had a sharpener that didn’t clog or jam up at one time or another, but this one is perfect. It’s fast it stops when the pencil is sharpened to a sharp point it even does colored pencils, which amazes me. I would definitely buy one of these again.

Best pencil sharpener we've ever had!! We homeschool and have been through a lot. Love that it does any size, including triangle and extra wide. Stops at the perfect point....no over sharpening. Gorgeous green color!

Great quality, fast sharpening speed, large shavings container, and bigger than expected. The Thing that I dont like about it is the videos I've seen show it sharpening perfectly straight every time but it doesn't do that every time. The smallest round hole is a tad to big so the colored pencil doesn't fit snugly and it sharpens crooked often. The smallest shaped hole works great for shaped pencils and they fit snug and sharpen straight. It does have suction cups so you dont have to hold it while sharpening wich is nice. It does auto stop when pencils are done but I noticed that it stops to late and does over sharpen all pencils and thats why the 4 stars. I do recommend overall though.

I have always favored the hand crank pencil sharpeners over the electric ones. This onr so far is the exception. Heavy duty 110v plug in cord versus those that take an adapter plug-in. Sharpened pencils are to a precise tip. It even has an off switch so that over sharpening does not occure. I have not owned it long enough to validate its durability but from what my first impressions are I expect that this sharpener was built to survive long term usage. Well worth what it sells for.
