I originally got this for my makeup brushes, but I've discovered that it's just as effective cleaning all kinds of small brushes I have lying around. The cleaning bowl itself is a little shallow, so I suggest using it in a sink or tub to prevent splatters. It couldn't be easier to use - add soapy water to the bowl, scrub the brush head against the abrasive bottom, replace the water as needed. The bowl design is especially nice for dried paintbrushes, because I can use the bowl to soak the dried paint off before washing. The holder is one of the stretchy silicone-type ones, and it can easily hold nearly all of my thinner brushes at once. I only wish that the brush holder wasn't on the bottom side of the bowl; it would be nice to be able to use the holder as a stand when washing.

The media could not be loaded. Im in love with this product. I normally spent a lot of time cleaning my makeup brushes doing a lot of mess, and with foundation around all my sink. Now i can clean my makeup brushes just in minutes. This is one of my fav purchases.

What I like about this Makeup Brush Cleaner and Brush Dryer: It was very easy to attach the handle in order to put it together. I like that I can take the handle off or keep it on the bowl. The silicone appears to be a higher quality silicone that is soft but yet durable. It is easy to rinse and clean after using it to clean your brushes. The four different cleaning zones are good for different types of brushes whether they are sponge brushes or bristled brushes. I take the handle off and then reattach it over my towel holder in order to hang my brushes to dry. I like that the brushes hang so the water flows away from the area which attaches the brush to the handle because it prevents weakening the joining regions ( water can dissolve the glues which attach the brush handle to the brush potion). My bigger brushes didn’t fit into the drying ports on the bottom of the bowl, but I can still start to clean them and put them across the rim of the bowl to dry. If you want you can also turn the bowl over and use the drying ports to store your brushes so they are clean and ready for use very quickly. This is my second purchase of these brush cleaners so now I have one for makeup and another for my crafting brushes. What I dislike about this Makeup Brush Cleaner and Brush Dryer: Nothing

I choose to use this as my water bowl while painting and I really like the generous size. It easily holds a little over a cup. When empty it weighs around a 1/2lb. So regardless of which side is up, it's going nowhere even when I purposely tried to tip it with a brush it never even shifted. And I can clean more than one brush before having to completely dump and refill. When finished, just adding fresh water and a squirt of dawn, swishing my brushes to clean was a breeze. And no paint stuck to the sides so it still looks like new. I also like that you can just stick the brushes in the bottom to hang and dry! Genius design. The handle seems sufficient to the task of holding the weight and I have no concerns over it breaking. When not painting it sits on my desk and seems to be getting used as a place for my hot coffee. lol Seemed natural to start using it that way unintentionally. Overall really like and for $10 I would choose this one over again. Definitely can recommend to other painters. Peace and clean brushes.

i admit i dont clean my makeup brushes that often because i just haven't had a great way to do it. i'm usually running each brush individually under my faucet which takes a lot of time and wastes water. this cleaning basket is so cool - i'm able to clean multiple brushes at the same time and it doesn't make a mess of my sink. also love the fact that i can hang my brushes to dry as well.

This is one of those products that feels kind of silly to buy, but really just does what you need it to do! For cleaning brushes, I pour in a small amount of beauty blender liquid cleanser and swirl the bristles of my brushes over the textured inside of the bowl. Then I pour in water and swish it around until it's fully clean. I have also always hated washing my brushes without a proper way to dry them and this easily solves that problem. This allows my brushes to fully dry upside down, preventing the water from soaking into the brush and weakening the glue attaching the bristles. The patterned divots at the bottom vary in size to accommodate different brushes. I've found that all my brushes, from my smallest concealer brush to my largest foundation brushes, all fit within the holes. I put the handle over a hanger and hang it on my shower rod. Love it!
