  • GREAT BIKE!
This is a recommended buy. The Geleisen TT-S2 Electric Bicycle is so much fun to ride. Before buying, I compared it to other bikes ranging from $1,500 to $7,000 and the features, display and throttle mode made it an easy decision which saved me thousands. Packaging: A+. This bike was packaged extremely well and had no damage. Assembly: The instructions are confusing as to the proper orientation of the front wheel, and the low quality black and white example photos did not help much. There was no parts inventory and the instructions failed to mention the gooseneck cap and plug, and the flimsy plastic fenders. I had to guess where these parts went as there were no instructions. Other than a little difficulty in mounting the front wheel into the disc brake and screwing the left peddel "anti-clockwise" - it was not easy at all, the rest of the bike was finished in about 30 minutes. The were no recommended tire pressures and the chinese brand tires had 350 Kilo-Pascal (kPa) stamped on them. I inflated the "tyres" to 50 PSI. Ride Quality: The seat is not comfortable and will be replaced. That said, I am 210 lbs and 6'1" tall. This bike easily supports taller riders and I did not need to raise the handlebars. The craftsmanship and welds are extremely well done with the wiring is integrated into the frame. It is nicely done. Charger: The power supply charger seems really cheap and got pretty hot when I initially plugged it in to charge the bike. I did not open it up, but the large plastic enclosure feels like it has a tiny battery charger inside. I'm not confident this would survive being dropped nor how long it will last. Ease of Use: After charging and turning the bike on, it was super easy to ride. The right hand throttle works very well. I consistently reached 20 mph without any peddling and I reached 22 mph using the the assisted pedal mode. Once you stop peddling or ease off the trottle, it will slow down. I love the display which has speed, battery charge, assisted speed level and mileage. I did get an error E code a few times after turning it on but it went away. The battery charge level also seems to vary between rides, but I was riding throttle only for the first 10 miles, so I'll have to see how accurate it is. The first day had 5 miles and 99% charge remaining, the second day I started with a 57% battery charge. The disk brakes are quiet and effective. The gear shifter is a simply click of the button and when using assisted pedal mode 3 of 5, it really does most of the work. Overall, I am super impressed with the bike and the price. ... show more

  • Best Value for Electric Mountain Bike
Color: Black-green
Been using this electric mountain bike for about a month now it's been the best value for the $500 USD I paid for it. I did strip the threads while putting the right pedal on, so I couldn't pedal it manually for a while, seller was responsive in sending me a replacement crank which took 3 weeks to arrive, so kudos to the seller. Been doing deliveries on apps and some hardcore mountain biking on this 🚲, the original tires are not entirely super durable for hardcore mountain biking already popped two tubes and my back tires threads already look bare after less than a month of use, but I do use this bike everday and go mountain biking everyday and I also do deliveries almost everyday. The bikes electric range leaves a little to be desired but is competitive for bikes in this category, the range on electric is about 27 miles per charge depending of course on your pedal assist. The throttle is especially cool and the bike has a top speed of about 21 mph on flat ground in full throttle. More likely it will hover around 16 to 18 mph on less flat ground. So far it's been pretty durable, aside from my assembly issues (in which I stripped the crank), my tubes popping when I took some mountain downhills too hard, and the less than ideal but still good range, I give this e-bike 4.5 out of 5 stars or about an 8.5/10 .... probably the best value in market as compared to other e-bikes and highly recommended ... show more

  • Update** now 5 stars
Color: Black-green
Update - below, but first 3 hours was omg 😱 Box - 30 minutes out the box all together, easy! *** Turn it on battery is 100%?? Really? I don't think so. So I ride up a short 60 foot hill, it couldn't get me up. This is throttle pas0 , there is another ebike I put together for a lady and it holds 20mph easy and fast all modes, before I got this one a YouTuber shows it does 17.5mph, I got the bike and I am 185lbs and I did 17.5mph . In this pic is day 1: charging at the park, never got home. The bike and quality is 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐.... But the tech in the display for battery being stuck at 100%? Not cool. Not sure what I need to do, another review some guy fixed it , but it doesn't say how and I can't message him through this. So 2 stars, if this problem is fixed less than 7days I will change my review . After 3 hours with no time to spare, a large group bicycle ride was starting, we usually go 20 miles in 3hours.... 5 minutes before that ride started, online I learned how to reset/calibrate the battery. But also I screwed up some settings and lost all the power in pedal assist or throttle only. Bike ride starts in 5 mins! Holding the up&down arrows at the same time gets you in the menu that explains nothing = 90% chance you will screw all settings and lose all power like I did. But with an online index of what P0¹, P0², P0³ , ect... up to P1³ .... If your battery is stuck at 100% after going 8 miles full throttle and only shows 100% , you might want to find the voltage setting it's P 0 something lol , but it would be at 36 and if you adjust that it will go to 48 volts, but this is a 36 volt battery, so click back down to 36v .... As you do that you see the battery cycle* down to 0% up to 100% and when that was done, wow I was at 5% battery, so we charged it 2hours before this bike ride... It got up to 65% , at the bike ride I screwed the other settings but quickly got it back to stock settings, and recalibrate the battery again, boom shows 65%. I rode the bike 10 miles in the dark on PAS⁰ , thinking I better save what I have. Using the head light and loud horn only and display brightness at low, the battery stayed at 65% . Halfway point was 10miles at the beach in California and I thought maybe it's broken at 65% , so I used full throttle 😁 for 50 feet, it dropped from 65% to 40% and I let off the throttle and it settled back at 65% .... But the 10 mile return trip, I used the throttle a little here and there and it dropped to 55% ... So in the 20 mile ride I used the power halfway back and dropped only 10% .... That's good! It's the next day, day 2 and might try a full pedal assist ride but I can probably go 40~60 miles... Even though the advertisement says about 20 something miles. ... In California before a bike ride starts we say no baby legs on this ride(will be hard) ... I am strong , cross country runner, so I can pedal all day. A beginner biker who is weak and needs battery power and will use throttle, you will probably get less than 20 miles from the battery. (Probably) I have a single gear bike, I am strong and do rides, but on the way to work, 3 monster hills I have to get off and walk? No no no , so I got the ebike for work (6 miles there and back) don't want to waste gas in car. Whatever your purpose the quality is good, I did some jumps, tried to wheelie the heavy thing, and it didn't break 😂. Tax + shipping= $711 total Ships from California/ Chino , but I live in California! If I order it on a Monday it would of come by Tuesday or Wednesday.... But I ordered it over the weekend and it came Tuesday (today is Wednesday, fast shipping for California) That's all ... show more

  • Excellent customer service and worth the money you pay
I did a research for a while. Eventually followed my friends advice to get this one since they are bike lovers and always asked me the key concerns I have for a bike - purpose and budget. I always weighs more on budget and don't care what type of bike is as long as it enables me ride in the neighborhood. Compared to the over $1300 e-bike sold in COSTCO, you will never regret to have this one. You have everything you need for an e-bike. I have been riding it for a few weeks, climbing a hill, not a problem. The battery can last pretty long time. For less than $500, I think this is the best you can get. I also had several communications with the seller for some technical questions, the response is quick and the service is great! ... show more

  • Wow for the $!!!
I've had multiple e bikes. Some that cost 5X more than this one. Honestly I was just wondering what a $500 e bike would be like today. As I bought/built my first one years ago. I am amazed! Try one and you will be pleased as well. I can do 20mph all over town and often I beat the cars using main street by taking sideroads due to the stoplights. It isn't silent but it's close and with the zip sound it makes it fun and is a great way to get around. This bike Can NOT be beat for this price! ... show more

  • Good value with some minor glitches
3.5 stars I got this bike the other day and put it together in about an hour on Saturday afternoon with a small amount of help from my husband (mostly getting him to bring me a better philips head screwdriver, and later he tightened the handlebar on a bit better). I've never assembled a bicycle before but I had messed around with some and it was all pretty obvious. However, one of the screws was missing (the one for the power button, to hold it tightly onto the handlebar). I'd already dug around in the bottom of the box for another "missing" screw (which was there) so I'm pretty sure it was missing. A more serious complaint is that the connection point on the right-hand side for the rear rack was not connected properly. We'll be able to do something about this, but it will be sloppy, i'm afraid. On the whole, though, assembly was easy and it worked pretty much right out of the box. The only slightly tricky thing was that I had to loosen then tighten the front brake in order to get the front wheel on. A potentially more serious complaint is the battery meter. I charged it for a while, and at one point it said 95%, then a little later (still plugged in) it was at 92%. Riding around today (first time going any distance) the meter bounced back and forth between 58% and 80% and several points in between, seemingly randomly. That said, it was fun to ride. The motor gives a great boost to pedaling and you can really speed along, but it's also totally rideable with no power assist. The tires are good for our bumpy road, and I'm looking forward to using the light at night -- it seems pretty bright. I've accidentally tooted the horn a couple of times, which is startling, but again this will be pretty handy in traffic. The pictures and Amazon description did not include fenders, but short mountain bike style fenders came in the box, which was a pleasant surprise. I think it would also be good to have a chain guard. One final complaint -- the kickstand. I kept catching the back of my foot on it when I was pedaling (with the balls of my feet on the pedals). Keeping the pedal under the arch of my foot solved that problem, but I might wind up taking off the kickstand because it really was in the way when pedaling normally. All in all, good value and I'm glad (so far) that I chose this rather than a more expensive brand-name bike. ... show more

  • Best low Price E-Bike on Amazon
The assembly on this bike was easy even though the instructions were not detailed. The quality seems pretty good especially for the price. I rode 5 miles on the bike after assembly and brief charging. The front shocks worked well and the boost was available when needed. The bike was also easy to pedal without assist. The seat wasn't as bad as I thought but I still may buy a seat suspension post. The front fender rattled and I may take it off. The FUN factor was great! I really enjoyed the ride! Good starter E-Bike to decide if you like it!! 5/8/23 Update: Rode on some hills and grassy trails and all worked well. I had to tighten my handlebars but all components functioned well. Now have 15 miles on the bike. 5/19/23 Update: 26 miles and going very well! Still recommend this bike for the money. ... show more

  • great!!!! For the price one of the better Ebikes out there
So far so good no issues yet well designed and made. I was looking for a more discreet Ebike as many places have been slowly banning there use. For the price this bike does a great job. The battery and wires are in the frame and this design works well for that purpose. It has a decent amount of power and the anytime throttle use is a huge plus!!!!. Also it is light compared to others in its class. Just wanted to add a few more things to my original review upon some research discovered that this ebike has cruise control and walk mode. To enter into the walk mode turn the bike on then hold the down button for a few seconds and this should activate same. To enter into cruise simply turn the throttle to your desired speed when riding then hold the down arrow button for a few seconds and this will maintain your speed until you hit the breaks which will cancel same. Also note one of the negatives I discovered about this bike is the inaccurate battery level reading below the 25% mark. York bike may cut power if you engage full throttle at these levels as it is designed this way to protect the battery. To avoid this do not go above the PAS 2 speed when the battery levels reaches this point. ... show more

  • Nice electric bike
The media could not be loaded. This is second electric bike I owned. My girlfriend took my older for her daily commute between work and home. So I decided to get other for myself. I was so impressed with this electric bike. It arrived almost assembled. All I need to do is put on the front tire. Pedals and seat. It very nice build bike. I think this bike is much comfortable to ride on compared with my previou bike. It is just perfect height for me. I am 5'10". My previou bike was way too high for me. So I have to cut off the seat to try to ride on it. I have no problem with this bike. My worries about the breaks were unfounded. It can reach speeds up to 20mph. But the breaks stop it perfectly well. The frame design is attractive. The battery was built inside the frame. You can't tell any difference between this electric bike or normal mountain bike. Unless you see the LCD display monitor on the bar. The computer is simple and easy to control for the assist mode has 5 levels. The only thing I was confused at the beginning is this bike has no pure electric mode. So it need pedal assist to keep the motor running. When I stopped pedaling. The motor will stop running as well. But that is not a issue for me at all. It still runs super fast. And the battery life was great too with pedal assist. Overall I think this is electric bike. Nice design. Lite weight. Great quality and value. Definitely meet exceeds my expectations. Updated: I aksed the seller. They told me need to setting PAS is "0" and then twist the throttle. I can enjoy the fun of pure electric mode now. ... show more

Color: Black-green
I'm 290lbs. I was skeptical but after doing some research on budget Ebikes, I landed on this bad puppy. Went on a 10 mile ride and used mostly throttle. Started out with 64% battery and returned home with 44%. And I mean I liberally used the throttle. I need a hip replacement so I can't give it that much umph anyhow but this thing made hills all sized a breeze. Will update my review in a month. I am 290lbs and full throttle on semi flat surface I was holding 14mph without peddling. This little budget bike is attractive and built tough. The shocks are very good for factory setup. I figured the fork would bottom out and I'd eventually upgrade. Nope, good stuff. ***Update*** 4/8/22 Still performing solid every ride. I am pulling my son in a Schwinn toddler trailer and the bike does just fine. I've been bitten with the ebike bug via this model and looking into converting to 2 wheel drive and adding additional battery. This is not because I'm unhappy with the ability of this model, I'm curious what you can throw at it. Solid bike Geleisen, bravo 👏👏 P.s. my wife has 50 miles on odometer and still has 50% battery over a month and never charged. Depending on usage, this think can last per charge. I charge mine after every ride but again I'm huge. I e got over 70 miles on my bike so far. Bike is comfortable to operate even without the assistance.
