If you like your robes to be comfy and roomy, order a size up. I would normally order a XL and I ordered a XXL. I ordered the black and it's a nice, deep black. I've washed it at least twice and it washed up fine. I do wash it on a gently cycle with dark woolite- by itself and then dry it on delicate until its not quite dry and then it finish air drying. This seems to keep it from shedding. So if you buy it, I'd suggest babying it when you wash it but I do the same thing with my Barefoot Dreams sweaters.
