These faux shutters are lightweight and easy to install. It comes with the fastener to attach it to the exterior house wall. I have stucco walls so I had to predrill the holes with a masonry bit. Once the holes were drilled both on the shutter and wall, all that is left is to hammer the matching plastic bolts into the wall. It looks great and adds a classy look to our house. ... show more

These were a good replacement for my hurricane-damaged shutters, look great, but are pricy. Check their website first for tips on how they should frame your windows (spacing, etc.), then measure carefully. They are very light, easy to handle, but it helps to have some assistance to steady shutters well drilling holes. The plastic screws (fasteners) work well, but make sure your pilot holes are the full length of the screws. If you have to remove a screw to re-drill, it's easy to damage it. So don't tighten completely until all screws are in place and shutter is in correct position. ... show more
