I purchased two packages of this tubing already. I wanted to add a little extra flair to my Dart, and this was one of the cheaper trim pieces I found. It's a plastic tubing with a slight rubber like feel. It fits into wherever there is some spacing between consoles, plastic, seats, whatever. It's a softer material, so you can trim easily with scissors or an xacto knife. So far where I have it in my car it pops out slightly when I close the door, but just a quick press back into the molding it fixes it. Some reviews mention color fading, a solution I used is using a clear acrylic spray you can find at hobby stores or hardware stores, let it dry for 48 hours after a couple coats helps fix it a bit. Make sure it is completely dry to the touch before fitting it into your car. So far no color fade. This trim doesn't fit in all places in my vehicle where I wanted it, but that's not the fault of this product. Photos show it being a bit pink, but that's just the camera photographing it in bright light, it appears red in person. ... show more

I ordered 1 pack and installed easy was happy so ordered another pack to finish up the rear doors on my car, within 2 weeks as shown in the images this has completely faded in different colors and now have to remove it as it looks like junk. Requesting refund on both orders now. do not recommend the electroplate style for sure. ... show more

I just laugh when I think how awesome this stuff is! I took a complete shot in the dark on it, hoping I could make it work to trim out my interior. I have a 91 integra, and I just finished restoring the inside. This little trim is perfect to make a more completed look. If you are able to wedge the trim between two pieces, that is ideal. But I was able to get it in a seam that does not come apart, using a stripe of super glue to hold it in place. The results are just amazing, and only took me about an hour. I did not measure the piece of trim, but it is very long. maybe 10 ft? It is super flexible, allowing you to make multiple turns without damaging the trim. Take note that I thought I was getting grey trim, and it is actually CHROME. This was a great surprise! I think it looks really really good and cant wait to show my friends from the car club ... show more

Pretty simple to use however I would buy a interior trim tool and a razor knife because vehicles vary where plastic studs are hidden. Those 2 items will assist with installation and save ur thumbs. This is a great affordable easy to use product and if you dont like where you put some on later you can just remove it. No leftover glue or adhesives because you interior holds it in. I suggest not doing all lines in the vehicle and stay with one piece as long as you can until you absolutly have to cut it and the best part about that is you can try it 1st and then decide when to cut. I bought 2 packs and was enough to do all i wanted in my mid size car. The packages they come in vary but they are the same size and color everytime. I would buy a sun shade for the car though if u have any that will be exposed to direct sunlight on a daily basis because it is suseptible to fading one piece and only one has begun to fade but it is constantly hit by the sun he remaining pieces have no fading whatsoever. Also if you have led interior overhead lighting (mine are red) it does make the trim have subtle light at night. Usually people love this product when they see it. It is amazing to see what a simple and dirt cheap highlight can do. I would reccomend this to anyone especially w a black interior. ... show more

Tried to make it fit into my dart but very loose on most parts, trim sticks out alot even when snug in place looks like its 1/8th of an inch out so looks ok on some parts. Might be better for other cars but didnt really fit mine and was nowhere near enough to do back doors or anything crazy had enough to do 2 lines on the door and on the cupholder and stick was left with less than a foot so make sure you measure before you order. Stuff is super cheap and see through, not crazy dark red it's like a light red almost like a twister candy color. Stuff is cheap and very stretchy but does get dented when pushing into the trim so dont use your nails. Not really worth the money because I feel it might fall out soon honestly, I'll try and do a review after a few days of driving and see how it holds up. Might be better brands out there but youd have to just try them out. Overall I'm happy it will keep the dirt out my trims because that's main reason I bought it.     • Stylish, easy to apply with a trick or two
Very happy with this stuff! A great non-permanent way to keep dirt out of crevices while adding a pop of color. I used this in the doors, the dash and the steering wheel of my 2018 Prius C, it matches the gear shift and the blue in the emblems perfectly. Everything in the video was done with one roll and I was left with about 2 more feet, I’ll be buying another roll to do the rear doors. There were one or two spots where the trim wouldn’t insert, so I marked them, pulled it out and cut down the “root” to half it’s depth so it would still slide in but wouldn’t need to go down as far. Worked perfectly. The edges aren’t always perfect, it is still plastic, but the color is very uniform, it’s flexible enough to maneuver along the interior seams, and it’s stylish.
