As a Christmas gift, we didn’t open it until much later after purchasing. Within days, the wrist bells have had these rusty ball pieces falling out!! Complete choking hazard for my under-2, not-quite-2 toddler! The gaps in those bells are just way too big; they fell right out with gentle shaking! I almost had a heart attack when they came flying out, and luckily I was there so they didn’t end up in his mouth instead! The rest of the set seems fine so far, but after reading other reviews, I will be cautious when other small pieces fall out or break off and the paint on some instruments appears to chip. Otherwise, a lot of variety for the price, fun for small kids, but definitely nothing expensive here! This item set definitely serves its overall purpose. I would NOT gift these to someone with kids under say 4, or if they are at the age where they are still putting things in their mouths! Wish I knew, I would have held off on buying for my toddler so early. Mislabeled here by seller, despite decent reviews for the product itself. Unfortunately, NOT great for toddlers! Older kids, most definitely. Also, EACH individual instrument and accessory came wrapped in plastic. So. Much. Plastic. Took forever to unwrap with some difficulty, and then made a big pile of a mess. Ehh, overall fine. Annoyed about the safety of some of items mainly.
