The red one was oval shaped not round and no matter what I did it would not be round. So don't used that one. I bought these to make sausage egg muffins. I have used them twice and have discovered they work well if you butter the inside and bottom rim. The pan needs to be hot and buttered also.. I leave them for a little bit to seal down before I add the egg. Once the egg is set well you can remove them and turn them over. I used to use extra-large eggs...they don't work quite as well too much egg. Large eggs work best. ... show more

    • Will Not Flatten Out
I was so excited for this product as we make breakfast sandwiches every week. However, these rings will not flatten out. The eggs leak out from under them no matter which way you set the ring on the pan. We thought that after being heated up on the pan, they would have flatten, that is not the case.

It is okay for money. I was expecting the rubber to hold the egg in its place but egg yolks still run out. Not the perfect as metal ones. Add little bit and order the metal ones. Thinking about returning it but not worth the hassle.

    • Waste of time and money.
The egg runs out from under the edge of the ring. I used a canning jar ring last week with the same results. You can't flip the egg. I won't mess with returning them but will donate to a non profit. I'm sorry I ordered another set as a gift.

The egg seeps out from under the bottom rim. The rubber does NOT contain the egg. Worthless!!!

    • Great for Crumpets!
I wanted these for sourdough discard crumpets. They must be sprayed with oil, but they release well if they are. The handles can be a little tricky and stubborn, but overall, I am happy with my purchase.

    • They don’t work.
Very disappointed. The eggs leak out of the bottom. Doesn’t hold the circle mold. Plus, how are we supposed to flip the egg over to cook the other side. I’m returning these. And to make matters worse, returning is such a hassle. Not happy.

    • These egg rings are useless.
I saw these used by a French chef on Instagram. I could not get the fried egg to stay within the perimeter of the silicone ring. The eggs kept escaping beneath the bottom of the ring. I wasted my money.
