  • Nice unit, but the app
Style: Portable Power Station DELTA Max
I received this unit just before going on a week long camping trip and figured it out in a day. The only part I've never gotten to work is the app and to be honest I didn't need it. If you review it online you'll find its working 1 in 5 people. Tech support couldn't help me and I will try them again later. The unit work for me in 90-100 degree weather without any issues! I rarely heard the fans running. When I did hear them I was right next to them or I was charging the unit by electrical outlet. I had the solar panels which work if you can get them in full sun. I couldn't because of where I was camping. Shade or direct sun was my choice and I chose shade! The unit powered my CPAP, fan and charged all my electronic devices for 6 days before needing to be recharged. I eventually ran a Keurig on it as well and still had plenty of power available to me. I could've gone the entire trip without recharging the unit, but decided to do it just in case. This unit is heavy and you don't want to drop it on your foot. It's insulated so it won't ground out if left on the ground or in a tent. I found it to be very sturdy and easy to use. I never had it turn off when I was using it. However, if I left it on with nothing running it turned off after 30 minutes which worked for me. I charged it on my balcony when I returned home. The unit comes with a long cord for solar panels. I had enough cord length I could leave the unit inside and the solar panels outside and still have almost 3 feet of cord. The day was cloudy so it took a while to charge. In full direct sun I saw one charge in hours. I would recommend this unit to anyone going camping. We bought this unit because we went to a state park and plugged into the outlet at the site which fried everything! The outlet was bad and ever since we've wanted to free ourselves from the need of electricity and I believe we have found it. ... show more

  • Great product. Easy to use. Reliable
Style: Portable Power Station DELTA Max
Easy to move around. Easy to use. So far have not run into anything this unit cant handle. Got this as a power backup for a variety of things, but mainly for my sub pump. Have only tested while home but powers Pump no problem for a long periods of time.

  • Is a great solar generator for my off grid cabin.
Style: Solar Generator DELTA Max+220W
Bought this to use for my off grid cabin as I am in the middle of the national forest in Michigan. It is very quiet and has worked flawlessly thus far. Have not yet used the solar panels that came with it, but they seem to be as well built as the the powerbank itself. Bought it during the labor day sale at a phenominal price. Bought it to use in conjunctiuon with an older Goal Zero Yeti 1250 that I use at the cabin. Is way lighter to move and charges so much faster. Was a little disappointed that the panels and the powerbank shipped seperately, and received the powerbank 2-3 weeks later. But I guess that is to be expected as these units seem to be so popular. Have been very happy with the unit, and have no hesitation to recommend this unit to anyone! ... show more

  • Used at Burning Man (extreme weather conditions)
Style: Solar Generator DELTA Max+220W
It’s my first time using solar - I bought the bundled solar generator/battery and solar panel. I read an EcoFlow blog post about taking their units to Burning Man, so that’s why I chose this brand. My primary goal was to power my ICECO frig freezer, at Burning Man, so that early arriving camp mates and I would be able to have ice. (Can’t buy ice there until Thursday of build week). In this bundle the solar panel is portable, but I installed it semi-permanently on the roof of my military trailer. I didn’t want have to worry about it blowing away during the crazy 50 to 60 mile winds out in the desert. I built a roof rack underneath the panel and a second rack on top of the panel that only holds down the edges. I used the grommets that are already installed around the panel’s edges to help secure with 3/8” bolts and nuts. It’s basically sandwiched between two racks on the trailer roof. Drove from Southern California to Nevada with the panel on top of my trailer, left it on my trailer roof for 14 days, and then drove back to SoCal with no problem. Hurricane Hillary hit my route to Burning Man at the beginning of my trip on Sunday. Due to the rain, my arrival was delayed, and no one was able to arrive on the playa until Wednesday. Spent three days at a hotel and learned pretty quickly that the 220 watt panel alone was not going to be enough to power my ICECO fridge freezer continuously. It would run my fridge freezer for about 36 hours max off of battery alone, without incoming solar. This is my bad for not testing it properly before leaving. I had an RTIC cooler and dry ice as backup/Plan B anyway so not that big of a deal but a bummer tough. I also bought the solar cable extension cables and the generator/battery cover from EcoFlow, too. The solar extension cords were critical for placement of the generator/battery. There’s no way I could’ve taken that solar generator/battery to Burning Man without the EcoFlow cover! I placed it on a table between two vehicles with a tarp behind and above it. The unit still did get dusty, but that did not affect performance. I used canned air to blow it out when I got home. Next time I’ll probably buy a kid’s tent or something else not sure. Tricky since it super needs to have ventilation but not get dusty. I didn’t want to store the generator/battery in my little trailer, first because I was worried about it being too hot with not enough airflow and I wasn’t sure I wanted to sleep close to it, because, it’s a freaking giant battery, not because of noise - it’s a very quiet unit that sounds like a fan, and only when it’s charging does it make noise. When it rained, I immediately disconnected the solar battery/generator and moved the unit to inside my jeep. (A friend told me if it got wet it would explode, so obviously I wasn’t gonna take that chance.) I was able to charge my solar battery/generator to 100% thrice in 14 days thanks to our camp’s gasoline generator which helped keep things frozen in the ICECO unit. (By the way that ICECO frig freezer is a bad ass at keeping things cold, even when off, the temp never reached above 35 degrees.) Some of what I learned… Even though the solar battery/generator holds a whopping 2000 watts, the incoming solar to refill those 2000 watts is trickling in at a very slow rate from the poor little 220 watt panel, and that was not fast enough, in my case, to keep my frig freezer running continuously for two weeks. Also, I never saw the incoming wattage higher than 189 watts at home, at the hotel, and at Burning Man. Not sure if this is just the deal with solar panel performance? I cleaned the panel daily with a very long swifter duster. For next year….I’ll probably purchase two 400 W solar panels (+ my 220 = 1020 total watts) and maybe even an additional battery (there’s an EcoFlow option available). I’d like to take my RV instead next year and I’d like to be able to not use the RV’s onboard gas powered generator at all if possible. The EcoFlow solar panel and solar generator/battery is very easy to set up, super intuitive, and charges up really fast @ 1.5 hours. Please note if you buy the bundle it will arrive in two separate shipments, even though Amazon will say it’s shipped and delivered. The battery/generator is a little heavy, but I could still handle lifting it and moving it around on my own. Moving it with two people is super easy. It’s about a foot high and 2 feet wide with extra large sturdy handles in each side. Also, the generator/battery has a pretty cool app (but couldn’t use while camping without internet). Overall, this bundle was an awesome introduction into the world of solar for me. I’m very pleased with my purchase. ... show more

This unit carries a big punch...lots of power! A little heavy, but doesn't take away from the ease and usefulness of this generator. • Superior
Style: Solar Generator DELTA Max+220W
I have a few goal zeros, and a few bluettis. Ecoflow performs like a beast. This will power a ridged pipe threader. Threaded 4) 4” schedule 40 pipes and only used 20% of battery capacity. Charges extremely fast with the heavy duty power cord. Once the app is set up, you can adjust the wattage coming in. So if you had, let’s say, a small 1200 watt generator, you can adjust the incoming wattage to 900 watts or so, and if you have enough power, all the way up to 1800 watts of input charging power. Hats off to Ecoflow, they have engineered this for the consumer and not the dollar. ... show more
