    • Excellent Noise Cancellation and Sound Quality
The active plus passive noise cancellation on this is terrific. On a noisy NY subway train I hear NO sound whatsoever. At first I was puzzled on a platform that I could hear a little bit of music from a trumpet player. So I took the headphones off, and realized why. The sound was incredibly loud. And that’s what it took to break through the noise cancellation. For sound quality, the bass does not boom, but it’s very much there. As for middle and upper, I cannot complain. But the main selling point for me was the terrific noise cancellation combined with NO SOUND PRESSURE on my ears. Every other top end headphone gave me annoying to unbearable pressure (I guess I’m sensitive to that). For example, the Bose 35 had some pressure, and I would imagine that I could not listen for more than a few minutes. The otherwise excellent Sony XM4 headphones was much worse. Terrible pressure. I could not bear it for more than a few seconds. Same for the Apple headphones. With this, no pressure at all. I’m buying a second pair just as a backup, in case the other one runs out of battery recharge ability in the future. It’s that good. Edit: I see another reviewer just complained about the sound quality. As I mentioned, Bass does not boom. And no, you will *not* get the sound quality of Apple AirPods that cost $450+. But…unless you are spending 15 minutes doing AB comparisons in order to make yourself unhappy, you will be ok with the mids and high frequencies. They are OK. They are not great. No, you will not be listening to Classical music trying to appreciate each note on the piano. But the sound is “musical,” it’s relaxed, and if you don’t spin yourself into a frenzy, you will enjoy it. ... show more

    • It nails everything, and I mean everything, except sound.
Pros: - Nice and lightweight, but don't feel flimsy or cheap. - ANC is really really good, even better than some headphones I've tried at over twice the cost. - ANC *barely* affects audio quality (with a huge caveat, see Cons), and ambient mode works well. - Dead simple to operate. Cons: Sound is horrific, tilted heavily towards bass and low frequencies only. For anything but bass-heavy tracks it's like listening to music through a pillow. Everything is smeared, and the overpowering bass is muddy. I can barely hear the separation between various instruments and the vocals. I'm not an audiophile and love a great bang for your buck sonic experience, but these really let me down. Only if musicality is secondary to you should you consider these. I can honestly say I considered keeping them to use as noise-canceling headphones only, because the ANC is really that impressive. But alas what's the point if I can't enjoy music even on the most basic level. ... show more

After owning this headphone for just a few days, I could easily wear these things all day. Sometimes I forget I'm even wearing these headphones... They look pretty stylish and they aren't too big. Noise cancellation is decent if ur looking for something that is cheaper than beats. Down side is it is not foldable to be compact so it was a bit of trouble to take traveling or even in my gym bag. But all in all it’s pretty good for its price if ur not too picky and if u just need something for the mean time while saving to invest for something better ... show more

The headphones sound great and the noise cancellation is awesome. At this price range these are the best headphones I have tried up to now. I had tried other headphones and they had connectivity issues and interference. This is my second pair of Eidifier headphones and I am happy with the brand.
