Seemed nice at first but the comforter does not breathe at all and I noticed it looked torn after just a few weeks of use this fall. Never seen this happen to bedding before so it's safe to say this material is extremely low quality. Wish I had tested this when I got it as it is now past the return window. Also the pillowcases are bizarre, they are split down the middle on the back and they have no real closure so your pillow is always exposed and the tags will hang out unless you cut them off. I love the clean and simple style of this comforter! Country-inspired vibe with a classic plaid design. This was a great value and well worth the price. Here’s my hot take on the pros and cons: PROS: 1) This a high-quality 100% cotton fabric — nice and soft. My husband and I couldn’t stand our scratchy polyester comforter, so we were really on the hunt for another option, and this was the perfect find for us. 2) The mid-weight of this comforter is not too light and not too heavy. Ideal for all seasons. My husband is somehow always hot at night, and I’m apparently a cold-blooded species of lizard who needs to sun myself on a rock regularly to maintain any type of body heat, yet this suits us both. 3) The set comes with two matching pillow shams. Call me a simple gal, but that is all I need to make my bed look nice. I will never understand the need for comforter sets that include 18 decorative pillows you have to throw on the floor every night and rearrange every morning (but maybe that’s just me). 4) Machine washable! 5) Many full/queen comforters are 90x90, whereas this is 96x92. That bit of extra fabric is a huge plus, particularly if you have a bed partner who steals the comforter over to their side in the middle of the night with blatant disregard for you — only to defend themselves the next morning by saying things like “I was asleep the whole time” and “I really don’t remember doing that” and “oh god is this going to come up in couples’ therapy again?” Cons: Just one. Cancel your plans because you’re going to be taking a lot more naps under this comforter. Just kidding, it’s a pandemic, you didn’t have any plans anyway. The media could not be loaded. I thought I was getting good quality with the brand name but that's not really the case. The microsuede, while soft, seems extremely delicate and the wool inside is quite matted. It looks like a faux wool blanket that you've had for too long. The pillowcases are not well thought out. There's no backing to the fuzzy side so it's raw, stretches and is extremely thin. The whole set seems like it might not make it through more than a wash or two. That being said, it does look nice on the bed. At least it's for a guest bed and won't be washed as often. Returning it would be a huge hassle since it came vacuum packed. ... show more
