These were just delivered! Whoopeeee! They've made my day. About 3 weeks or so ago I was trying to unload some of my craft supplies that I haven't used in a while. I offered an associate my jewelry making tools and accessories--for free. Supposedly interested, she has yet to claim them. So, I've changed my mind. After seeing this set, I definitely changed my mind. I'm like a kid in a candy store, trying to decide which one to partake in first. Each of the 10 rolls of chains are ample enough to make at least 2 nice projects if not more. That they are stainless steel is excellent. I don't have to worry about them tarnishing--- looks like "silver" to me. The metal has some weight to it, so they are not fragile by any means, even the smallest/lightest chains. I am going to have a ball. I have plenty of findings but the set comes with a load of jump rings, hooks and fasteners. I am so excited. This is definitely worth it! ... show more

This is just perfect for me. There's enough chain on each roll to make several necklaces/bracelets. There's a decent variety and there's connectors included for each style if chain which is super helpful because I didn't have any in my stash to fit them all. It's decent quality chain as far as I can tell. The stainless steel is corrosion resistant and supposed to be hypoallergenic. Only time will tell on that matter.     • Value for what it is
The actual chains are okay. They are not super heavy duty, but given the price, I had no expectation that they would be. There is a nice variety, and will work for basic jewelry items. I would not use them with expensive beads or gems, but for simple costume jewelry they should work fine.
