  • Great daypack that keeps you connected!
This is a great product for those who need a day pack with a solar charger for phones, etc. while doing outdoor activities or traveling. We do a lot of summer time hiking, biking and just general adventure day trips, and this pack was exactly what we were looking for. Since my husband would be the primary user we went ahead and ordered it in grey (for a more manly look), but honestly it looks so nice I don’t mind wearing it too. It was a wonderful Father’s Day gift and he was so excited to get it. After some use here is our list of Pro’s & Con’s: PRO’s - Definitely a day pack (not built for heavy items like laptops), as it can be nice and compact (folds into itself for storage or packing into a suitcase), very useful for travel, hiking, biking, picnic, beach, trips to the Famer’s Market, etc. - Nice looking, great color, stylish in design - Lightweight material with lots of straps for adjustment of size (not sure if it is water proof, but seems water resistant in case caught out in the rain don’t have to worry about cables and battery) - Solar panel is detachable which allows for you to take along or leave behind (especially if flying so they don’t take your battery away – just pack in checked luggage to use at your destination), and is very easy to attach and remove - Lots of storage and pockets so you can keep water, food, purchases, electrical components and bug spray or sunscreen separate, never feel like I can’t find my phone or keys - Pouches on sides are very secure for water bottles and a good size for standard bottles - With the solar panel we didn’t have to worry about cell phone losing charge and we were away from electrical outlets all day on our last hike - Light and comfortable when wearing while riding bike, stayed centered and didn’t slide all over, plus we did not have to worry about contents not being secure CON’s - Thin material with no real padding inside, so you feel the contents of your bag (we got several long English cucumbers at the Farmer’s Market and it took some adjusting so that they didn’t feel like they were poking the carrier in the back. - Not designed to carry a lot of weight (probably max would be 6-8 lbs of items like paperbacks, summer items, fresh fruits and veggies, light clothing like jackets or sweaters) as it could potentially damage material or poke holes in fabric - Does not appear designed for long term durability (no reinforcement of seams or straps) and material is questionable if used heavily (but this does allow for more breathability when using during activity Overall, this is the future of day packs and other travel bags - solar panels have become more critical to keep things functioning (from cell phones to ipads and flashlights). We look forward to using it with our rechargeable bike lights for evening rides! I would recommend this day pack to outdoorsmen and people who want a nice, compact multipurpose travel bag that can help keep them connected. • Great lightweight bag
Great lightweight bag, if small. It will function as a carry on for a plane trip, if you'd like, or you can fold it into itself, store it in your actual carry on, and use it afterwards to store any extra items, for example if you have a layover and go shopping. That way you're not trying to stuff more items into an already full bag. However, if you go this route, I'd stash the solar cell and attached battery in your checked baggage, or leave it at home. TSA is notoriously finicky about batteries on their flights, and if they take it from you, you may not get it back. There's not a lot in the way of identifying markers on the battery or solar cells, either, and this could also cause a problem if they can't identify it. As far as trips at home, hiking, or anything else, this bag would be great. The solar panel clips onto the bag itself, so you don't have to hold it or sit somewhere waiting for it to charge. Attach it, and take off hiking. Its only got a 2000 mA battery, so probably only one charge for your phone if the solar cell isn't soaking up sunlight. Would be great for say, charging your phone back up at night after a days hiking, if you didn't have it hooked up during the day. I received this bag at a discount. ... show more

  • Video Review!!!
Color: Grey
The media could not be loaded. Watch my video reviews in HD on my Youtube channel: skyforce95 Pros: -compact and lightweight -folds into a small bag -solar cells are lightweight -bag and solar cells are water resistant but not for downpour -plenty of straps and buckles -two water bottle pockets Cons: -only one usb port -I haven't been able to really make good use of the solar charging, needs constant direct sunlight to work and even when it does, it charges very slowly -no real structural support in bag -small and not made to hold heavy items -no additional padding on bottom ... show more

  • Liked it
Bag is very lightweight and actually folds up into itself which works perfectly. I used it on a family trip to Walt Disney World. Battery is permanently connected to the solar panel thus you cannot charge another battery directly from the panel. By my estimation the battery holds roughly one full charge for my iphone 6. the battery slowly charges back from the sunlight. Overall, i liked it quite a bit but I wish the panel was bigger and offered more charging power, but it is great for a day at theme park as the bag offers enough room for 3-4 jackets and or sweatshirts during the day. ... show more

  • Lightweight and large enough to travel
Color: Grey
The media could not be loaded. Pros: 1) lightweight 2) quality zippers Cons: 1) has only one strap that can act as a chest strap or a waist strap 2) shoulder straps are a bit too close to the neck, can rub against it

  • So I don't love the backpack - it seems very lightweight and small
So I don't love the backpack - it seems very lightweight and small. Not really what I was wanting -- but will do as a day pack so I stored in my motor home. WHAT I LOVE ABOUT IT IS THIS: it comes with a solar charger for your phone. Great idea! I'll be taking the charger to Machu Picchu in September and using it to charge my phone during the trek, that way I can take photos every day and charge in between by hanging it off my BIG pack that I replaced this pack with. ... show more

  • An awesome sleek backpack that charges!
Color: Grey
I was initially amazed at how compact I could pack this backpack. It is very durable. I have carried it a few times. I was able to carry a lot inside of it. The extra charging station that is solar-powered is an extra perk. I recommend this for the active backpackers. I also recommend this for hiking enthusiasts. ... show more
