So far it’s been a month in 29 degree weather and no problems. They are strong!! Easy to install. Works. Cheap. Can’t complain. 2003 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo is what I put this set in and it fits perfect. I’d buy a set a year if I had to. It’s cheap enough. Easy to install.

These we easy to put on IF you don't do what I did. I ordered the set of three cause they were a better price than getting separate sets. All went well till I got to the struts for the window in the rear gate. They are not marked which is which (they figure it should be obvious) I tried putting what I later saw was the hood struts on the back glass lol. Didn't work but once I figured it out it went smooth . I do suggest looking close at your paticular model as some have ball snaps and some have torx bolts on one end. It will still work but an exact match makes it smoother. All told these work great and at a decent price too. Hope this helps someone get theyr 17 year old jeep up to snuff ... show more

There we NO instructions with the struts. It took awhile to figure out that the mounts for the tailgate struts would not work on my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and that I needed to remove the ends of the struts and replace them with the ends from the original struts. (The mounts on each end screw on and off.) Once I figured that out, they were easy to install. Instructions explaining that you night need to swap out the mounting hardware would have been helpful. It took particular bits to remove the tailgate and rear glass struts. Fortunately I was able to borrow them. I cannot speak about longevity yet. ... show more
