However, this does not reflect the seller, the Item is/was the correct part for my car, after so due diligence on my part finding the correct OEM number. The product look new, and it was boxed in it's own box then boxed inside of a Amazon box. Which was great because the Amazon box went through something before it got to me. It was still intact. Just a little loose from the travel. It fits and my AC is working great. Thank you for putting out quality at a reasonable price it's much appreciated.. Don't buy. This is complete junk. The clutch coil burned up after less than 15 minutes. No response from the seller, so i had to buy a different unit, and of course, a complete remove and replace job. It looks like the clutch was assembled without a critical snap ring. The clutch coil rubbed on the inside of the pulley and heated up to the point of melting the clutch and connector. Luckily, the coil shorted out and blew the fuse before the whole thing caught on fire. It was completely melted and the clutch plate and bearing were burned badly. Also, The connector didn't match a 2010 Ford Edge as listed. The casting is marked "LoMoCo", and may be sold under different brands. ... show more

First off, the item works well. However, there are no instructions. Not that you need it to install. It would be nice to know if there was PAG oil in it. I just totally drained it and added the correct amount. Also, the connector on the top of the pump looked correct but was not. After the pump was installed, I had to cut the connector off and install the original one. I was able to make the wires a little on the long side so I can disconnect it from above. ... show more

I’ve seen a lot of bad reviews on this compressor. I cant help but to think that most of the bad reviews are from inexperienced people working on automobile ac units. The ac system has to have the adequate amount of refrigerant oil and the right amount of refrigerant. The ac compressor comes with some oil. Depending on the parts of the ac unit that are changed before charging will determine how much oil to add back in the system. I’ve never done anything with an ac unit, but I also do extensive research before tackling any project. I changed out just about every part in my ac (including o rings) and charged it without any problems. This compressor works great, my air is 42 degrees F coming out the vents. My only question to this point is longevity. Only time will tell. Don’t let the bad reviews deter you. This compressor is cheap and works great. ... show more
