    • So comfortable and will mold to your foot the more you wear them
I love Ecco shoes for travel - particularly to Europe. They are stylish enough to where you can dress them up or down. My mother would say they are hideous, but I think they are kind of edgy and funky looking. The real draw though is that they are incredibly comfortable. Even walking 10 miles on cobble stone streets don't make my feet hurt in these, and they have better arch support than most shoes. Because they are a soft leather (almost suede) I spray mine with water repellant spray really well before I take them on a trip to keep them in good shape and repel water. I really like how they use good quality leather - these are not cheaply made - which allows them to form to your foot and make them more comfortable the more you wear them. I have a pair of Eccos similar to this style except in high tops too. My daughters (9 & 11) who now wear my shoe size and a little bigger steal my Eccos from me and wear them to school all the time now! I think I'll let them keep my old pairs and get new ones. :-) ... show more

This is my 3rd pair of the Soft 7 bootie. These are my go-to sneaker shoe for our Az winters. They are so comfortable. They have some arch support and are easy to get on and off with the side zip. This pair came to me and I could tell they had been worn and returned cause there was dark stains on the side and back of the rubber sole but I used a magic eraser and that helped. There is ample room in the toe box for my bunion and other foot issues so no problem there. They last forever and I’m happy with them. ... show more

Today is my first day wearing these sneakers; these are my first impressions. They are really cute! I was a little worried that they would look too plain or frumpy but they have a nice style - I think the zipper adds a lot. My normal size shoe is a 7.5 and I do need a slightly wider toe box due to bunions on both feet. I typically purchase "normal" width shoes, though, as wide widths are too wide. I ordered the size 7 and they fit great. There is no pinching or tightness, and very nice cushioning. I am at work and mostly sitting, but I did walk outside for about 20 minutes at lunchtime and so far so good in terms of comfort. This is my first pair of ECCO, and they were very much a considered purchase for me due to the price. Based on the comfort and what seems to be very good quality, I am hopeful that they will prove to be worth it. ... show more

4 stars for the quality and design. I was hoping these would be my versatile, water-resistant, dress down or dress up travel shoes since they are sleek and have a strong supportive foot bed. Amazon recommended I buy 8/8.5 but the fit was a too narrow. I have slightly wide midfoot and like a roomy toe box if doing a lot of walking, especially miles and miles on European cobblestone city streets. The tread felt rubbery to the touch which was what I was looking to protect me on uneven pavements and slippery marble. Sadly had to return. If only they came in a wide option! May try the next size larger. If so I will update my review later. But if you have a normal to narrow foot and are looking for what I described above, I’d give these a try. ... show more

These were comfortable right out of the box which is a rare thing for me. I bought them for a trip where I will be walking a lot and there will be rain. I sprayed them with waterproofing spray and they are good to go. They look nice too

Nice but they run small. I wear a size 9 1/2 to 10, medium width. They were too narrow even though under the sole liner it says wider width.

LOVE thus boot! BUT... check inside the back heel seam before you keep it. I love this in several colors and have it in two suede styles this warm grey and shadow. Treated they handle weather well . However the first one ordered like this, had a rough inside heel seam that gave me a terrible blister that is taking forever to heal. All the others are soft and smooth inside. Feel along that back inside seam and you will be able to tell! I purchased these for a trip to Ireland with lots of waking and unpredictable weather. The rough seam made me order another pair to replace these and hope they are as comfy as my other pairs. (it is hard to capture in the photo what you can feel with your skin. But the one I circled, if you look close is a rough edge that eventually feels like glass on the back of your heel. The other one is smooth and soft.) ... show more

Recently having foot surgery it has been a challenge to find shoes that fit, stylish and good quality. ECCO hit all the marks. They are pricey, but well worth it. I hope they last a long time. Great arch support and room in the toes which I needed both.
