Finally, a cool, comfortable shoe to take to Paris and London in August. I had been looking for a white sneaker that didn’t look like a hiking, walking, or running shoe, since I already have plenty of those from Brooks and Nike. Alexa actually helped me find these in the store. I kept entering what I wanted them for, and after a few hits and misses, these kept coming back as the best option—so I ordered them. I love them. I’ve worn them around the house all day to make sure they’re a good fit. I did remove the inner sole because I have a high arch and need extra support. I use Dr. Scholl’s Prevent Pain Insoles for Women, also from Amazon. I’ve ordered several sets for my hiking, running, walking, and everyday shoes. They are the best—just cut to fit. These Ecco sneakers have removable insoles, which makes it easy to replace them with your preferred inserts. I’m so ready to wear these on my upcoming tour. I’m taking six women on a very special curated trip to Paris and London. I typically curate the travel, hotels, activities, and all the details, but this group also asked me to guide them in person, and I agreed. That means a lot of time on my feet while keeping everyone engaged. These beautiful Ecco shoes look great with everything: a light black slip dress, black casual pants, jeans, and everything in between. I ordered my normal size 9, and the 9–9.5 fit perfectly. I have 2 pairs of these Ecco sneakers and they are the bomb. I appreciate the low sole and wear the marine black and white leather version (no longer available) with some skirts and dresses. The leather molds to fit your feet and they are comfortable enough to walk in all day. The canvas versions are less flexible but also very nice.     • Finally found the perfect white leather sneaker

Love love love these! I have been looking for a well made white leather sneaker that was both stylish and comfortable for over a year and have finally found THE one. This shoe was comfortable right out of the box. The leather is soft, the arch support is perfect, the sole is a nice neutral beige-gray color (rather than white), the heel height is perfect (not a platform heel). Overall, this is a classic and stylish shoe I will be wearing for years. I normally fall somewhere between a size 10 and 11 with a somewhat narrow foot and high arch, which presents a challenge because women’s shoes are rarely offered in a 10 1/2. I was pleasantly surprised when the size 10-10.5 fit me perfectly. The only thing I would warn buyers is the color of the leather is not a true white, but instead has a slight bit of blue/gray undertones. I was initially surprised and was not sure I liked it. But after re-examining the shoe over a few days, I have decided that I actually prefer this color over true white. So, this too, ended up falling in the plus category.     • Squeaky and stiff

I have bought 2 pairs of these over the last few years. The first pair was great. Comfortable and cute. I wore them ALL the time. A few years later I decided to get another pair. This second pair is so stiff and so squeaky, it's embarrassing. I got them a few months ago and thought maybe they just need to be broken in but nothing has changed. And now, I'm at a library and I think I will just take them off and walk barefoot because I feel ridiculous walking through the quiet with my *skreak* *skreak* *skreak*.     • Surprisingly comfortable

This is my first pair of any Ecco shoes. I was looking for a black leather sneaker I can wear casually or dress up. This one fits the bill. Pros: sizing chart was accurate for me in the 9-9.5 size; cushioning was pretty good - I could feel the slight arch support; stylish, classy and classic; easy fit for everyday wear; I wore them all day at work with moderate walking without any blistering or major discomfort and squeezing; no break in period; the tongue is padded just enough; removable insoles (yes!); love the color; they seem to be great quality and could last a long time with proper care Cons: the laces are good length and tie up well, but they were stiff (I've already ordered replacements); the rubber sole squeaks on a linoleum floor (they hear you long before they see you), but very good grip; widthwise, my 9M foot felt slightly tight in the toebox initially and I thought it might be a problem, but it wasn't and I had no blisters or sore spots (definitely not shoes for thick or wide feet - the toe box is lower than other similar sneakers I've tried and can cramp the foot). Additional thoughts: I was wearing no-show socks and they slipped down a little and I made a mental note to wear different socks because I didn't feel like untying shoe laces to adjust socks; they will probably do well for all day and longer walks depending on your foot comfort; I'm hoping the leather will loosen up a little with wear. These are cute shoes but they are super tight. I am an 11 1/2 us and got a size 12 meaning I sized up and they are still super tight in the toe box and in the length. Is there narrow and there's wiggle room in the toe box. Your toes feel like they're smashed into the end of the shoe on the top and bottom. I bought these the first time and LOVED THEM. I walked one night around Disneyland in them not remembering on arrival that I was wearing them. Unfortunately that first pair lost its quality after some years - goes to show how often I wore them. Even tried to restore them, but didn't make the cut. Comfy. Casual and casual-dressy. Nice color. Lightweight. Went with several looks/outfits I do believe. Weren't hard to put on. I did try to replace, despite the cost, but then decided the cost bothered me. So went for a cheaper and different brand. Maybe one day when I feel more comfortable about the cost of this brand shoe, I will go for it. But highly recommend trying these if you can. Size was also good. I'm a 5.5. I should mention I have this pair in a rose-gray color which has been working with many outfits as well. These shoes are amazing! I’m 68 and my 35 year old daughter told me about these, they are so comfortable I’m a substitute teacher and walk around most of the day. My feet never hurt at the end of the day! I’ve bought several pairs.
