After trying about 7 other pairs of Chelsea boots, these are the winners. I have the ECCO Soft 7 leather sneakers in size 39. I can only wear thin no show socks with them so I ordered a 40 in these. I am tall so didn’t want a heel and wanted something comfortable enough to walk all day. I have a high instep and need a wider toe box. I ordered some fluffy boot socks to wear with them and am glad to see the leather gives and they are even more comfortable with the fluffy socks than regular socks. Look exactly as pictured. Pretty comfortable. Can wear with ankle socks. Doesn’t rub annoyingly at the ankle. Fairly supportive. I bought both the 7-7.5 and the 8-8.5. I kept the 7-7.5. I generally am 7.5-8.

These boots are great -- easy to pull on, comfy (fits my wide feet), and look casual but cool. The biggest negative is that they are squeaky, which I find to be true for many of my Ecco shoes unfortunately.

I tried these boots on elsewhere, but in the black version. the brown version was about a size too big, but i also felt this color looked cheap. i really liked the black ones and would consider buying those is the future when i am looking for another black boot.

I was afraid to get these as I have a wide foot and most shoes don't fit well or sometimes even at all. However, this shoe is the exception. It was little snug at first but stretched more as I wore it. Super comfy beautiful shoes. Worth the purchase. Love the style of them as well.
