I must confess, I have been wearing these sandals for around 15 years now. Until this pair, they have always been a very comfortable sandal. I have bunions and in the summer this has been my best shoe for years. I will add a picture showing the difference in the shoes. The new ones are beige and the old ones are black and brown. They no longer have the material going across the top of the foot under the straps like they used to. Now I have pain when I wear them even just a little while. I will be getting me some material to see if I can fix the issue. However, it is not my usual practice to spend over $100 for a pair of shoes and then have to modify them so they do not hurt my feet. It even hurts on my foot without bunions! As you can see in the pictures with the beige one; there is no strap that goes under the straps and across the top of the foot. On the other one, and I made a close up, you can see the black strip of material that is under the strap that goes across the top of the foot. They ruined the shoe for me. I will never buy another pair unless I can see it up close and verify the material goes all the way across. ... show more

My Physical Therapist has these and recommended these for a bruised calf muscle and ankle from a bike spill. She said they're the best and they last forever. The price is too high for my budget but for healing and support I decided to buy them. They said they would arrive on Wednesday but I got them yesterday-Sunday. I was excited to get them and in only 2 days. I was skeptical they would fit from a few of the reviews, but they fit perfectly. I'm a size 11 and a Medium width with a bit of hammertoe. My feet were in bad shape and hurting much of the time. I didn’t go anywhere that involved much walking. My sister-in-law law recommended these. Admittedly more than I have paid for any shoes but they are so worth it! I skip my slippers and put these on first thing in the morning and wear them all day! They are very adjustable to accommodate any width, I would think. MiNe are narrow and that was a concern but they fit great. Very happy with my purchase! I have hammer toes and nephropathy and these I can wear all day with no problem. The only pair I can wear. I did not want to spend so much on a pair of sandals but I really had to otherwise I'm in extreme pain.
