I take a 42 in Ecco. This is constant, across boots, tennis style shoes or dress. The crossover table says 8-8.5 for US Mens, but different men’s shoes have me in 9-10 sizes, depending on brand. So try ANY Ecco to see where you fit Comfort wise, Ecco shoes seem to design from a 3D foot model outward. Some shoes make a flat sole and add padding, that’s not the Ecco way. Take a wax imprint of a foot and mold the sole from there. I add gel inserts for next level comfort. The leather appears to be “water buffalo”, just tends to wear better than cowhide. I may be mistaken, but that is my impression. Out of the box comfort. Lightweight and not a winter boot. I live in a high plains desert so this is a year around boot. Water proof with GoreTex for snow. Not too hot for summers.

I have been wearing these shoes for over 25 years. They fit like they are your best friend for your feet. The only draw back is this, do not buy them as a "special occasion" shoe where they are only wore 3, 4 or 5 times a year. The soles will come apart. Buy them, wear them NOW. They will last 4 or 5 years, max. But all in all they are wonderful or I would not have been wearing them for this many years... Also, they fit a little narrow which is prefect for someone like me who wears a 14B... (48)

I've worn the same style from Ecco for the past 15 years. This would have been my fourth pair of Ecco Track boots. One of the risks of ordering online, is not having the ability to inspect the product before you get it. Being that I was ordering the same model, i had some confidence that I would be satisfied with the new pair. When I unboxed these boots, it was clear that they were not the same as my previous three pair. The leather upper material is hard to describe, but it was nothing like the other pairs I've owned. It's advertised as natural leather, but it felt waxy/plasticy...like a synthetic product. The sole material felt less substantial than previous versions, so I went and read the reviews. As expected, lots of people reporting premature failure of everything from separation at stitching, to the sole basically coming apart. Not the quality product I've come to expect from Ecco, especially for a $250 boot. I'm sending them back.

I've owned many pairs of ECCO boots and shoes over the years. I've always found them to be comfortable, stylish, well made and worth the high price. I purchased these to replace a pair of aging 14844 boots. Initially, these boots felt great. Typical ECCO fit and comfort. After a week or so, however, the stitching on the right side of the right boot began to rub my foot. If you look at the close up photos of the outside side of the shoes you will notice a spot where there are 3 large stitches; these are the stitches I'm referring to. Sadly, I had to return the boots. If you have a high arch, pay attention to the stitching when trying on the boots. I ended up trying a pair of ECCO Rugged Track High Waterproof Boots since this design does not feature the same outside stitching. Although not as stylish or well made as the Track 25, the Rugged Track boots are quite comfortable. And as a bonus, they are much less expensive.

My husband has a problem with his left foot. These are the only shoes he can wear comfortably. He has worn them for more than 20 years! We have always purchased a new pair when we break out his current spare pair. Expensive, yes--but well worth the price. Very well made--they last for a long time.

These are my third pair of boots from Ecco plus many other shoes over the years. Perfect fit in the boots again. I would like to order another pair of these in brown so I am hoping the seller sends me a gift card for loving these boots so much and the excellent service from the seller. If he or she does I will put in another order for the brown ones. Anyway Ecco is my favorite footwear and has been for 25 years. This is a good seller as well.
