Ecco makes a quality product. Comfortable without much break in time. But if you are a serious player, you'll likely want to consider a conventional soft spike shoe, which provides better grip than the square nubs on these soles.

I walk over 5 1/2 miles on my course. These are the most comfortable shoes you can buy and are my 4th pair of Ecco golf shoes. I added these because I wanted a water proof shoe for early morning walks when the grass is still wet.

Eco just fit me. The toe box especially i can wear a smaller Ecco Vs going up a 1/2 to a full size for a foot joy for toe room which then gets too sloppy. Even the FJ wides don’t feel as good. They r great on wet mornings. FJ classics look better but can not beat the Ecco fit.

I’m a golf shoe nut job!! lol! Must have 20 pair and I would rate these in the top 2 or 3. True to size and waterproof and still look like new. I’ve got about 30 rounds on these and you wouldn’t know. I’d buy them again.
