I used these cables at the board side of a EtherCON setup. They worked perfectly and didn't have any shielding or grounding issues. I like the colors of these cables. They aren't gaudy at all and would look professional on gig. I kinda wish the entire plug was metal instead of subbing plastic parts for the colors. I really don't "need" color and would prefer the durability and feel of metal over the plastic. Otherwise this is a RECOMMEND from me!

I needed a few XLR cables to connect my device to my soundboard and this product worked great for this purpose. The package came with 4 XLR (M-to-F) cables and they are about 3 feet long. All four 3-pin XLR cables are in different colors, which is great to help color-code the connectors. These cables meet all my needs and I highly recommend this product.

This review is for the 4 pack of 3' cables. These EBXYA cables are of decent quality. They are advertised as 'premium'. As you can see I've sacrificed one of the cables to reveal the internal structure. There is a good quality PVC jacket, a 20 strand cotton rope for added strength, a CCA (copper clad aluminum) braided layer (more on that in a second), a foil wrap around the conductors and finally a red and white set 24 AWG conductors for the balanced signal. The very first thing I noticed was the CCA (copper coated aluminum) braided shield wire. It's not a very tightly braided shield that needed about twice as much material to become truly shielded. Then the foil layer, which looks pretty good. The last line of defense to filter out RFI or EMI (noise) is twisting the red and white conductors. This wasn't done as the wires have a soft silicone jacket. The 24 AWG conductors appear to be real copper. I used the 'burn' test whereas you take a flame and burn the copper wiring. If it flakes off and burns away it's CCA. Again these are a GOOD set of cables that are terminated and soldered pretty well. My issue is advertising these as 'premium'. Close, but no cigar. If you're on a budget and need a set of XLR cables that will eliminate most noise, then these will be OK. If you want zero noise then I'd look elsewhere. For most of us this cable will be fine. They have included a 120 ohm DMX terminal (for stage lighting). Very nice touch. The four orange cable management velcro straps are a nice addition as well. I can recommend these but I suggest unscrewing the terminals and wrapping some Scotch Super 33+ electrical tape over each conductor to help with crosstalk and prevent the ground wire from touching the other wires.

I was looking for a set of high quality XLR cables to run from myDAC to my preamp and these are working great. Appear to be high quality, and they look great with the colored braided covers which should also help protect the cables. Overall, great set of cables for a reasonable price!
