Had an extremely bad allergic reaction to a previous product (Bioderma Intensive Balm) and bought this as an emergency. I have used it twice a day for 3 days and it has helped tremendously. On my face alone, it helped with the severe itching and burning and by next morning, the redness and bumps were calmed by 80%. Mind you, this was used on day 3 of the reaction and I had been using the Avene recovery balm (it works but causes intense itching even when my skin is normal). I bought this to mainly help with the itching and it helps pretty quickly. It didn't burn upon application and I have since moved to using it on my neck and chest (worst area of the reaction) and it seems to be helping where hydrocortisone is not. I will say when I apply it, I use 2 layers because it is a thinner cream. But, when it first dries down, it makes my skin feel slightly tight, but not to uncomfortable. And within an hour or so, my skin is normal and feels moisturized. It's only been 3 days so I'm not sure long term if it will work for me but even if it doesn't, it's great to have on hand for future allergic reactions. I am super sensitive to scented products so I purposefully go for fragrance free. I was worried with some of the reviews but desperately needed something. To me, this smells like canola oil which I am used to from a different brand. It wasn't super intense and I didn't notice it once applied to my entire face (and now neck and chest). To me, it's one of the better fragrance free smelling products. PROS: Thin and easy to spread. Sinks in quickly. Doesn't sting. Helps stop most itching pretty quickly. No strong, funky scent. Once it sinks in, the smell disappears. Relieves/starts to heal allergic reaction symptoms. CONS: Leaves skin slightly tight when applied. Maybe 30 minutes - 1 hour later, skin then feels moisturized.

Somewhere I found a recommendation for this product for eczema on the eyelids. I was looking for some relief short of a prescription topical since you cannot use hydrocortisone around the eyes. I'd tried Cetaphil Restoraderm which was not effective. This product provided immediate relief and is safe for eyelids as long as you are careful not to get it in your eyes. I use it twice a day and no longer have itchy, dry eyelids - kind of a miracle and a bargain considering prescription topicals are hundreds of dollars a tube. It is unscented - no scent whatsoever.

I live on the east coast and as soon as it started to get cold my legs became very dry and extremely itchy and my normal lotion was not helping and definitely not alleviating the itch. My friend said she got this recommendation from a dermatologist, I ordered it immediately. Literally felt relief shortly after the first use. I’m so impressed by this lotion. This product heals flaky red skin. I use it on my face and my ears. My pores look smaller and fine lines disappeared! It has stopped the itching on my ears and healed a flaky patch on my face. I can’t recommend this product enough! It doesn’t have any odor at all. It goes on white then sinks into the skin. I wear it under makeup and it works great!

Can we talk about how amazing this stuff is???? I’ve been battling eczema for years typically using a perscription to get it under control then a combo of lotion and Vaseline type projects to manage between flare ups, but over the last few years nothing has seemed to work. My elbows were often a scratched up l, scabbed bleeding mess and I was SO self conscious. The prescriptions gave me little relief and the lotion combos were no longer working. I tried the eye cream from this brand when the eczema started showing up there as well and it was amazing, so I decided to try this for my elbows and let me tell you. I scratched all my other products and used this exclusively and the results are life changing. This stuff is amazing and I finally feel comfortable showing my elbows (just in time for the warm weather)! I’m hoping this will Continue to work for me, but will update my review if it doesn’t. Take a look at my before/after pictures if ya need a lil proof of how life changing this stuff is!

Great product for rosacea and eczema skin. In the winter months I use morning and evening, summertime it’s a little too thick for morning under your makeup. Makeup does go on smooth on top of it. Little goes a long way!
