The silver color of this wall plate makes it even more chic. The Eaton screw less wall plate adds beauty by being almost unnoticeable. It is designed to perfectly compliment the style of the Eaton ASPIRE Series products though would look great in any home. The Eaton 9522SG 2Gang ASPIRE Midsized Screw less Wall Plate is a midsized wall plate is slightly larger than a standard sized Decorator wall plate giving a greater appearance as well as hiding irregular wall cutouts. The screw less look adds a high-end feel to your walls by hiding the normally visible mounting screws with a cover plate. The Eaton ASPIRE series has a unique, two- tone design. Great quality and easy installation. They look much better than the standard wall plate and make a huge difference! They have a glossy finish (something to keep in mind for those looking for a true satin finish). I’ve purchased these wall plates on 2 separate occasions and received 1 Cooper Wiring Devices (acquired by Eaton almost 10 years ago) “Aspire” wall plate and 2 Eaton “Arrow Hart” wall plates. Worked perfectly, installed in less than a minute. Install the back plate then snap cover right on. I only took away 1 star because the plastic feels thin, like it could break if you over tighten it. I did not have any issues with the plate but my wall isn’t perfectly flat because of texture so it doesn’t seem to want to sit flat. You can’t tell looking right at it so technically I would rate it 4.5 Stars. I will definitely buy another. I forgot to mention I bought this to replace the cover after I installed a WEMO smart switch, they don’t offer a 2 gang cover so this worked perfectly! ... show more

I've recently bought quite a few of different gang-type screwless wall plates, and Eaton is one of the best ones. They have a strong, but thin, backing plate (with impressed directions on which end is up), nice, glossy finish, and a small little notch in the event you need to pull off the plate in the future. Also, not the sandwich style as other brands, so clean lines and seams throughout. If you're having trouble with 'recessed' switches or outlets after installing, use the existing screws which are attaching the box to your outlet or switch as an adjustment screw to bring the unit forward, after the backing plate is installed so you it sits flush to the front plate after installing. ... show more

Trying to replace the standard two gang screw plate. Unlike other brands I have used before, it is not the standard size and too wide to fit in the area where a standard fit plate would. Height is normal, but too wide. Useless to me.

They look nice, nice price but a review said they did work with their Kasa Smart switches/dimmers HS200 and HS220 but for me there were 2 bumps on this plate that were hitting the little settings buttons, so I could NOT install. I'm going to try and get a sharp knife or sandpaper or file and see if I can remove them to get it to work. If so I will buy more . . . but if . . . ... show more

After having some new lights installed around the house I got to looking how old and outdated our wall plates looked. Went with this brand as one of the major brands that start with "L" has some weird two piece assembly and from the side looked like two pieces of sandwiched plastic. The Eaton plates are simple, separate the backing plate, install it to the switch assembly (two screws or four screws depending on if you're doing single or double gang), snap on the new faceplate - you're done. I did 15 doubles and 12 singles in under an hour. House is 25 years old and they fit perfect over the existing rocker switch. You can do it, they're super easy to install. ... show more

Installed these on all my switches using silver in the rooms that I painted light gray, and white in the rooms with a brighter color. They look so good! I love the flush design and the fact that you can't see the seam around the outside like you can with other. The silver is a really nice color, it's not metallic so much as it is kind of shimmery. The faceplate looks grayish compared to the switches themselves. I think this is the plate's fault because both switches are exactly the same color, yet they're from very different manufacturers (General Electric and TP-Link).
