After my husband told me that the links in my watch were too small to remove, I bought this thing and removed/replaced the links like a BOSS. The instructions are very easy to follow and understand, and everything you need is included. The only slight possible issue, which wasn't actually an issue for me, is that the tool that pushes the pins out has a ledge that can be raised or lowered to fit the thickness of the watch, so that the watch is being held in the right position as the pin is removed. In my case, my watch was so small that I couldn't raise the ledge to the proper height without the pin pusher bumping the edge of it. So I had to just hold the watch in place. But since it works so well, it was easy to hold it in place for the short amount of time it took to remove the pin.

I bent the **** out of the first bit I used with the screw-type pin pusher. I guess part of it was user error, but I was a fraction of a millimeter off and it bent fairly easily. It was in the hole properly, but might have been at a funny angle. Boom, busted. Luckily, one good thing about this set is there are lots of pieces that come with it, so I picked up the next bit and got the job done. One thing this set is lacking is a tool to remove the pins in a folded link band that a different watch of mine has (it took me forever to figure out the proper term for this type of band, but if you look it up you'll see what I mean. It doesn't have standard pins linking the band). HOWEVER, I figured out a super easy trick to push the links out of a folded link band. Use a regular CORKSCREW, get the tip of it inside the cavity and turn that sucker towards the exit point of the clip and it'll pop right out of there. Anyway, very nice set, lots of pieces to cover different situations, and has a convenient pouch to keep everything together. Just be careful when you use the tinier bits (they're all tiny actually), they will bend easily if not used properly. I can't say that I fault them though, having to be so tiny and thin to serve their intended purpose.

One use of this kit saved me easily 3-4 times the cost of it plus drive time and wait time to resize a watch. The instructions are okay but you can search for your specific watch on YouTube for the step by step. Very easy to use. I have one more watch to resize so it will be even more worth the minimal cost of this kit.

Conceptually it works. When used on pins that were installed correctly, it works great! But i encountered a pin that was previously replaced that was the wrong size and the pin jammed and bent 3 of the pusher pins. Replacement parts was also nice, but didn't have to use it.

This was intended to save time by being able to adjust watches at home, however it didn’t last long. Worked great first couple of times then just was more trouble than it was worth. Spent more time trying to fix the actual product than being able to use it.
