I have wide feet and usually wear wide. In this shoe I needed double wide . Orthotics fit without removing inner pad without making foot unstable . Very comfortable, stable shoe . Please note the shoe has no arch support without adding an orthotic .

Hi Amazon customers - thanks for doing your due diligence to find out if a product is how it is described. I won't lie. I sought out this brand and style after finding a pair in a second hand store that felt terrific even after being previously worn and cleaned (not professionally). I have had flat feet since birth and am not of the jet set that can afford $300 orthopedic inserts nor imported, well made shoes. So, when I can find something that works well under $35, I jump on that! Honestly, the used ones felt better than the news ones, but I needed the 'used' ones for my lawn mowing (junk) shoes. The new ones are true to size...I like that they actually have wider widths available. You must lace them well to have the full effect of the support they give. i state that because it might not be obvious to everyone reading. Nice color choices. I shopped around and this seller had the most variety of size and color. I plan on ordering a pair or two in case some idiot designer/marketer/business person decides cheaper construction and materials might be the way to go. I USED to be a 100%NewBalance gal, but they changed the design and inner support and upped the price. It's really rare for me to find shoes that fit well as I have bunions and need a wider toe box. Even trying on in person I rarely find what I need so I was hesitant to order online. So glad I took the chance. These shoes are exactly what I've been looking for and were comfortable from the very first day, so much so that I wore them on a 10 hour flight on the 2nd day. I've been wearing them nearly everyday since and walking 3-5 miles a day in them for the past 2 weeks with no rubbing or blisters and they have quickly become my go-to shoes. I have purchased these sneakers three times now - they are perfect for a wide (8W) foot. The reason I purchased so many was not due to their durability (they are very durable and water resistant), but because I wanted a whiter, newer pair. That said, they are easy to clean (I put them in the washer with a little bleach); they do clean up nicely, but after a few years of wear, they do lose their shiny, new whiteness. VERY comfortable for a wide foot - walking in them is very comfortable too - no rubbing or slipping. I have a hard time finding shoes that fit well, and these do the job.
