5 stars because the curved soprano I got (gold lacquer) has good intonation even very good compared to much more expensive horns. The set up was good every pad was sealing well, Tone of a horn is 90% player and mouthpiece. This horn will not interfere with tone production it’s pretty easy and open. The question is always how long will this horn stay in good playing condition. If it starts to have problems I’ll revise the review. Right now I’m impressed.

I've play saxophone for over 30 years and have a professional selmer but wanted something to gig around and not worry about getting dinged. This by far surpassed my expectations. It's not perfect, the neck doesn't tighten into place and I added a third party thumb rest thats more comfortable, but the sound and intonation are actually very good.

ordered this horn, first one was bad,got replacement it went bad also,very nice looking but it does not stay in tune and the pads stick something awful,not worth the money,its a shame if they would have put in more craftsmanship it would be a great horn

We honestly had low expectations for this but my son really wanted a soprano sax to play around with, so we got him one for Christmas. So far he loves it. Took a little bit of playing to work out the squeakiness but otherwise he says it plays pretty well. He's used to playing professional level altos and tenors, so him saying it's not bad makes it well work the money we spent.
